I am guessing if they bring in an outsider Peden will leave. I know I would if I had put in ten years and they went with someone else. Peden would not have any problem finding another job.

Both on staff wanted job. Other guy made good first impression. If they open it back up they will be a month behind and killing the program.

He just accepted Cordova unless there are two Anthony Jones from the Memphis area that are coaches.

Highlife I agree Clayton is a good coach. This year should be a big year for the burros going against Overton and maybe Antioch. I think his days are numbered though. Probably goes into the short term success category if the burros win this year.

In terms of great metro coaches I can only go back so far. In my time I would say Nick Coutras, Pigue, and Adeylott (not sure on spelling) had the most long term success. Best shorter term success you would have to say Blade and Fitzgerald. If you are talking best all around coaches then I would add Anderson, Coure, Armstrong, and Brown. All of these coaches got the job done in the right ways and truly cared for their players and made them into better people.

Different area different demographics. Hmmmm and others said those things were not a factor when Cody was applying in metro. Oh and you want better yet Cody wanted better and applied here. Yet he didn't even get an interview. Systems do not matter, demographics do not matter, all that junk doesn't mean squat. Give the kids a coach that will work his butt off and truly care about the kids and they will all be successful.

In all seriousness what is the problem at CC? This once looked like a good job but now I think any coach should be worried. Howdoitknow what are the pros and cons of taking this job.

Run I don't see that happening. I see a mass of talent fleeing to Cane Ridge.

I have a feeling we will know the answer very soon. Probably by no later than Friday.

Beech for obvious reasons but they will be down. Mt Juliet a close second. Wilson central has talent and decent coaching. Lebanon will be much improved with new staff. Station camp has talent but questionable coaching. Hendersonville just doesn't have the horses to run. Portland will be slightly more improved. Gallatin is hurting. Just an outsiders opinion.

May not be the new coach though. Three coaches already there applied if I am not mistaken.

Moon wink I'm thinking it's either Peden or metro outsider from the west. as much as I hate to say it I almost believe it will be the latter of the two.

Oakland should be the team to beat. Siegel will be slightly down but still good enough to be second. Third through fifth will be a toss up between riverdale, Smyrna, and Blackman. I'll go with that order though. Smyrna was really young and should be improved. La verge will be sixth and then sc. Give sc a couple years and they will pass la vergne and maybe Smyrna.

RC was really sick this past year so not sure. TM is holding out for Overton in my opinion. That is a year away I am pretty sure.

Run I am hearing Peden, who deserves the job and should get it in the perfect world, RT, DA, and SW.

What makes LW a good hire LBD. He's been at three schools since Antioch and hasn't stayed long at any of them. What would make him a good head coach. What staff could he bring/ keep because I am pretty sure the current staff would look elsewhere.
