I agree that Dustin Rich is a great player! He is also a great kid from a great family. But let's be realistic here. If we (Celina fans, etc.) can all see that he has a great inside game, don't you think the other district coaches have figured that out too? It's really hard to get him the ball when the defense is so tight on him. Coach Edwards will do his best to have them ready for Wednesday. Practice hard, show up and play some real Bulldog basketball, boys!!

In the past, a coin toss has decided a tie. The district coach's meeting is tomorrow morning in Cookeville. They will decide MVP, Coach of the year, etc.

Clay County vs Jackson County is cancelled. It will be made up on Thursday, Feb. 16th.

Was that the year Celina put them out of the region tournament ?

CCHS lost. That's all I know about the boys. I think the girls probably lost. It was 17 - 5 in the first qusrter, Unaka leading.

I wasn't at the game but I was told that 3 of our starters had 3 fouls each before halftime. Ferrell, Godwin and Rich were the three. Saylor is still injured and not playing.

Just found it on the Tennessean website. Casey Ferrell scored 30 points. Won by seven. The score was 74 - 67.

CCHS won by 8 points in overtime. The girls lost. I'm not sure of either score.

Fightclub, you can claim your coach or someone told you Coach Edwards and Coach Maxfield were bragging on themselves. I do not care who told you that, but I can tell you one thing - either they were lying or you are. I know our coaches and they would NEVER toot their own horns like you are saying someone told you they did. You better talk to your sources before you start spreading lies young man.
