  2. Year before last CCHS beat LA in a HoF game @ LA. Last year LA beat CCHS (in overtime) in a Hof game @ CCHS. Of course you know the results of this year. That's the only ones I know off hand.
  3. I would like to point something out. Regardless of who won or lost, one thing remains the same. Livingston Academy is 3 times the size of Clay County High. According to the stats on CoachT team search LA has 849 students enrolled. CCHS only has 258 students. How can that possibly be construed as a fair setting? I think you all have sour grapes that CCHS beat you. Stop whining!!! Whether you had all your team present is not the fault of CCHS.
  4. CCHS won by about 3 points, I think. I could be wrong about the score, but I definitely know they won.
  5. Actually, Clay County is scrimmaging Westmoreland tonight @ their place.
  6. So what exactly is the playoff picture in this region? Anyone know? I'm a Celina basketball follower, not so much a football fan.
  7. Richard Franklin, Allison Painter, Coach McDaniel, a man that coached at White Co. several years ago, and Paige Smith were all five interviewed.
  8. I heard today that Mark Strong, the pee-wee girls coach and father of Amber Strong, is really interested in the head coach position. He might recruit his brother Tracy to be his assistant.
  9. Hey Lastword - I guess you are showing how truly UNCLASSY Clarkrange fans can be !!! We are trying to congratulate our teams and you just butt in !!! Start your own thread.
  10. I just have to say as a parent of "future DAWGS and LADY DAWGS" that I hope the attitude improves greatly. WE, and by this I mean ALL teams represented across the state (by their parents) must understand that we are to support their endeavors and provide a good example of sportsmanship. I sat on the Clarkrange side. In the middle of all of their fans with my husband. We weren't going to move, we had good seats! I didn't mind sitting there, after all I thought we were all there for the same goal. However, I did have a front row seat of many of the encounters of both Clay County games. There were several "out of hand" occurrances but just to my upper right I overheard a Clarkrange fan yelling obseneties to OUR children and I took that badly. NEVER should that occur. I was appalled at the" BOO'S" as our girls and boys took the floor at their respective times to receive their trophies and proud as Celina fans stood to clap for the other two EXTREMELY talented teams. Support your team, support your District, support the game. Clarkrange has some awesome talent, so does Celina but it is not limited to these two teams. Girls, I think YOU need to play YOUR game. Parents cheer and encourage, BUT OTHERWISE MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!!!! Girls before your next meeting, sit down and think about playing ball, calm down and meet in the 'Boro, Shake hands, AND APPRECIATE EACH OTHER AS THE AWESOME ATHELETES THAT YOU ARE!!!! There are NO LOSERS now!!!! There are good players but Great players have Great attitudes first.
  11. Clay and Pickett tied for first in District 7A so we were regular season co-champions . Clay Co. won the coin toss and was first seed going into the district tournament. I believe that RBS and Pickett were both ranked in the AP poll at some time or another this season.
  12. I heard that Pickett Co. came out pretty strong in the 1st q. but lost it after that. I also heard that Westmoreland was on in every quarter - played an exceptional game. Shut Bailey down I think. After 1st quarter (in which Bailey scored three 3-point baskets), Westmoreland put a different defender on Bailey. Nice adjustment. Sorry to see Pickett Co. lose. Great coach and person in Greg Bibb and a great group of boys. Was hoping to meet them again in the region finals. Congrats Westmoreland. Go CCHS Bulldogs !!! Can't wait until tomorrow night !!! GOOD LUCK !!!!
  13. In defense of the majority of the Clay Co. fans, I saw the signs flying but I assure you that they were not aimed at anybody in particular. Unfortunely we have some inmature fans and smaller children holding those signs (and throwing them). I am very glad that nobody got hurt by one of those signs. I wish the cheerleaders wouldn't even hand them out if our kids can't act any better than that, because throwing them is not a display of team spirit !!!! Watchemball, that's a little harsh don't you think? Classless ? The signs were not thrown by our players or coaches. So, to call our whole basketball program classless based on the actions of some fans is not very classy on your part !! GREAT WIN LADY BULLDOGS !!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO PAULI HERRMANN - MVP !!! WAY TO K-SOME-A !!!!!
  14. What time do the games start Friday at Watertown?
  15. I heard some, but not all. 1st team - Eric Stafford - CCHS Marcus Hudson - RBS Daniel Meador - RBS Josh Wright - PCHS 2nd team - Saylor Walden - CCHS 3rd team - Jon Frazier - CCHS Dusty Adams - CCHS That's all I know.

Chase Stephens and Joseph Bailey will share the Distict 7a MVP title. They are co-MVPs. Congratulations to both boys !!!
  17. Yes, they both received MVP. They are Co-MVPs. They had the same amount of votes. Congratulations to both players.
  18. Unfortunately, public vs private is the mentality that alot of people have. I do not think it's such a big deal. What is a big deal is that Clay County beat a very good FRA team on their home court. We came out and made some big plays and all our boys played well. Great job, Bulldogs!!! Keep it up. District tourny is around the corner.
  19. Gomab, Joseph Bailey from Pickett County played the whole game against Clay County on Feb. 3rd. Just thought you might like to know. Must not have been too hurt - he scored 11 points. Dusty Adams played awesome defense holding him to ONLY 11 points.
  20. Clay Co. 60 - Pickett Co. 55 Great job Bulldogs !!!
  21. I sometimes wonder that myself ! It would be awful if one of your starters happened to get injured in such a blow-out.
  22. BigCCHSfan, I believe that was supposed to be sort of a compliment. Pickett is now tied (w/RBS) for 1st in the district standings because we BEAT RBS (and RBS beat them). They each have one district loss.
  23. Clay County plays at Hermitage Springs - girls begin at 6:30.
