Livingston wins, 21-14.

Couple things and I'll be done here. The quarterback is Hayes, not Haynes, and he's not a freshman. Secondly, I feel that Livingston eventually hits their stride, somewhere. Maybe not. I think they are too run based, but if that's what works, it's what works. I think, and those that know me will hate on me for saying this, but I think that Clark can air the ball out if given a chance. Hayes is a great play maker and I understand having the ball in your best play maker's hands at all times. However, nobody is playing Livingston and worrying about the passing game. If it beats them, then they are just amazed. That's my two cents. It's not a discredit to anyone, I think Coach Lamb does a phenomenal job and there are a lot of great young men that play at Livingston, including the ones listed. Hoping for an upset in Livingston.

Just one question, as I don't post much here anymore. Who is looking at Dylan Linder? Anyone? Kid is fast, strong, and fits in all spread offenses. If nobody is looking at the kid, why not? Also, former LA standout Brock McCoin will get the start at WR on the road against Houston this week for Tennessee Tech. Pretty awesome accomplishment, and barring injury or unforeseen circumstances, he'll play at Neyland Stadium in 2016. Pretty neat.

Larry White...ha. I don't see that working out in District 8-AA. However, I'll go with Upperman over everyone. Youth is turning into experience and that youth is TALENTED. Livingston could compete for #1, but probably #2. The rest is open. York, in my opinion, will be the most improved and will make the Region Tournament.

Should start off by saying that I do not know anything about Middleton, other than the obvious. However, Pickett can play. Looking for them to move on to the semis, in all honesty.

District and region crown most likely go through Livingston. However, it will not be easy. District 8AA is wide open. I do hate it for SC because Callie is a phenomenal talent and probably could have lead them to the championship game in both tournaments. That being said, let's all enjoy this time of year. I watched a three overtime thriller last night at Livingston. It's so fun to watch, especially the players I have coached over the past seven years. Be blessed and take it all in.

Big game with Brentwood Academy and Cumberland County tonight. Then Livingston and Alcoa. Thoughts?

This is going to be a really great tournament, IMO. Top notch teams at a top notch facility. Everyone should come out. Any thoughts on who takes it?
