I agreed with your statement about scrimmages and jamborees should be played for practice rather than keeping score, WOW we agree on something!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, having an ambulance on site is not only a good idea it's a necessity; especially since SM field is a ways out of town. And no matter how young a program is one shouldn't have to learn that. Seq has always had someone at all our gatherings even at a lot of the practices, but Seq field is not that far from emergency personnel either.

There is 5 teams that had a winning record last year (one guarantee wrong). Marion will at best be 5-5 next year more like 4-6 (second guarantee wrong).

I talked to Coach Simmions yesterday about the articles and he is steaming. Coach Simmions didn't say half of the stuff that fine reporter said in that article.

They didn't sleep through the game Indian, they had no answer for Tyler Kilgore and his curve ball. Seq attacked the baseball instead of getting behind in the count like they have been doing. Which resulted in much better hitting. I know if and buts get you nothing, however Sequatchie should have been 4-0 in this tournament playing in the championship game Sunday.

I think I uderstand, I had to read your response three times though.

It has something to do with paying another offical or something like that. RMWR, most of the Indian fans don't monitor these boards much durning the off season. I haven't much on the football boards, mainly baseball right now. Sequatchie nailed it, the for the most part there are kids there that gained valuable experience last year and Coach B can build off that. I don't know if there will be a battle for the QB position but, I know they need one. If they have to play with one of them up and coming Sophomores, it may very well be a long year. Having said that, I think there is one or two others than can play QB or at least manage the game like last year. That is the only real concern I see right now.

Sequatchie will be very young this year losing 7 starters from last year and a freshman that started some. We will have to grow up quickly. Seq has two Seniors and four Juniors and the rest Sophomores and Freshmen. However, I think we will compete for the district again this year. I am not real sure what everyone else has or lost but, I would expect CCS and Grundy to be the toughest opponents.

Tell us what you really think! He never played against Sequatchie Co. Just because one playes for a smaller school, doesn't mean they don't deserve a chance buddy. Who do you think the best passer in 2008, 2009 was?

Except for SP the valley has been down for years, all not just Whitwell. Whitwell beat us in 06 and 07, that's not that long ago. Seq, Bledsoe and Grundy looks to be on the come back and have stable coaching, which is the key if you ask me. Marion was just as bad if not worse of an opponent as Whitwell this year and will probably be next year too. I personally think we need to keep Whitwell if at all possible.
