LOL....after 4 days in the "Boro"....I'll have to check back on that one....

Well..I'll have to admit.....I am very partial to the "Saders". We lost to Bolivar 3 times this past season...as everyone well knows. In those loses I feel that we beat ourselves in 2 of those games by not hitting our shots. We should have won the second game....had it won by five 15 seconds to go when the ref blew a charging call. It's on film....we got ripped by a ref, but if we had've hit our shots that wouldn't have been a factor. Not taking anything away from Bolivar, they had a great team this year....I really enjoyed watching Willie, and Wayne , and the boys play....but I think deep down inside even they know they didn't really beat Liberty....we beat ourself. The third game probably shouldn't even been played because of the death of the twins father....to many emotions for a game like that. But it must go on. I just don't see anybody in west Tenn. or across the river beating those kids....any time soon.

In the 7 to 5 game Liberty pitcher Matt Haynes gave up 2 home runs....one 2 run and one 3 run homer....other than that......good pitchin'. I think Liberty is going to be ok in the pitching dept. Looks like they are pretty good defensively and the hitting is slowly coming around. We've got Haywood, Mon. and Tues. then Camden, Thur. then Lexington next Mon..

I was impressed....I've watched several of the top teams from that area this year and I'm impressed with a lot of things. One is the way they can shoot the lights out from the outside. They are fundemently coached....solid, and are very patient on the floor. I saw a lot of talent out there in the McMinn game. I would never take anything away from that kind of basketball team. The team that Mitchell beat to get to the championship game.....Goodpasture, was a tough team. I read somewhere on here that Mitchel took it easy on them....I disagree..... press Mitchell and the come apart. Because of their size....they get tired. Good pasture had time when the went after Mitchell....they kept it close that way. Liberty is a very unique team.....the majority of those kids have played together all their lives, and coached by none other than Dexter Williams......even in middle school. We have a freshman....Ricky Williams that was coached under Dexter back in Middle school.....so with that said....this run could go on for a few more years at least.

I could be wrong ...but I think it was the Yep Yep Yep Yep Yep Yep Yep chant. Awesome stuff......people were sayin' they wish they had that one. The cheerleaders have the "what what what" cheer. Have you heard that one. Did you hear the one the fans did at the end of the McMinn game? "We are winning, we are winning Yes we are, yes we are Look up at the scoreboard, look up at the scoreboard Ha Ha Ha....Ha Ha Ha" It's all in good fun.....when your winning....I guess.

i love the way you thought our (liberty) depth wasnt going to be a factor ,but obviously it was because it wasnt even close to a nailbiter (we won by 23) but thats ok cuz we're the state champs fair and square!

Yeeaaahhhhhhh!!!!! I was back there Friday night after the McMinn game when Mitchell's players came out and started throwing and waving their jersies at the Crusader fans.....the fans ran them out of there.....it was awesome. Heart is all we got. Our football coach....Coach Lane was the fan of the game Sat. He's awesome. He was painted up like beetlejuice or something.....

Back in Jackson now.....with the gold ball for the first time. Yeahhhhhh!!!! Those folks were fired up in the "Boro"!!!!

Oh!!!! I agree with that......the officials in the Liberty vs McMinn and the Mitchell games were pitiful.....There were a couple of guys in both games....you shouldn't have the same officials reapeat games like that. The charging calls in the McMinn games were ridiculous.

We seen that happen all season......we (Liberty fans) knew a teams endurance by how many people had their hands on their knees in the 2nd quarter of any game. I haven't seen a team this season or in the tournaments that can run with them.
