  1. i like perry county in this one...i believe perry county is way to fast for zion...i watched zion and cville play and i didnt think cville had much speed, and they still were running the ball pretty easily against them most of the game. i also believe perry counties line is a lot better than zions....the only thing im not so sure about is if perry counties secondary will be able to stand up against the pass all night long. but i didnt think zions recievers were that fast, so i think perry county can handle it!
  2. CA blew coverage twice giving Wayne county easy TD's...and missed way to many tackles to ever be in this game. Whats the status for #5 for wayne county?
  3. are you the orignol "sssssssss" or do you just post under that name?
  4. Im sure she'd say just how "special" you are! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. im not sure where you mentioned a scrimmage for anything either.
  6. will CA's secondary be able to cover WC's recievers?
  7. and with zion you can let them run it, because unless im missing something they dont have a game breaking running back. its alot easier to come up from pass coverage to make a tackle, then to try to catch up in the secondary when your gettings burned.
  8. i dont know who is gonna win this game, and personally dont really care right now... but with your theory, all red boiling springs has to do is schedule Maryville, and Brentwood Academy and they'll be unstoppable, just because they PLAYED them. This isnt college football there isnt a BCS rating system that soley relies on strengths of the non-conference teams your play. all that matters is W-in high school football i mean i cant deny if you play better teams it CANNOT hurt your in the long run, but that is not the only variable involved.
  9. id have to say zion probably has a better passing game than mtp. just because while mtp probably runs the ball 50 times and throws it 10, zion is probably throwing it 50 and running it 10....the unbalanced ness deffenintly doesnt favor the passing i dont think.
  10. if zion has a shaky secondary it wont be exposed this game, cornersville has never been known as a throwing team--the only way it could be exposed is if cville's runningbacks break some runs and get into the secondary that way. i could see this being pretty high scoring-neither team has a great defense.
  11. depends, i think they can on offense-because of the rules you gotta have so many people ON the line and OFF the line-but not on defense.
  12. like what kind of mistakes are they making that is causing THIS much affect?
  13. i think there speed will hurt ca, ca is not a very fast team this year, compared in years past.
  14. im not used to this regions thread getting so far down the list! lets try to keep it up top again! after 4 games for some teams 3 for others, this region seems to be alot more competive then most thought(looking back some of yalls predictions.) so my questions how have your predictions changed after 3-4 games?
  15. congrats to perry county! does anyone have any stats for this game? like total yards. how did it play out? close until the end? how does huntland look this year?
  16. how does perry county look this year? what are there numbers this season(how many players?)
  17. I dont know about region contenders, but they did beat cornersville about as bad as yall beat zion...and ill take cornersville over zion any day of the week. and i hope 9 is ok. hes a great athlete, almost broke a couple of kickoffs.
  18. Final Score 35-0 columbia academy winning. cornersville had something like 30 yards of total offense after the 3rd quarter, then the 2nd string of columbia academy came in.
  19. maybe this will teach all the wayne county players and fans to not talk so much trash before hand.
  20. the score proabably would have been a lot higher if it wouldnt have been a hurricane before the games, rain slows everything down which probably helped zion(keeping up with mtp)
  21. i dont think so, but zion's offensive line probably hasnt seen a line with there size either. i have a feeling mount pleasant is going to come into this game with a vengeance, since they're starting 0-2 in who knows how long. i still think if zion can get into some grooves with the passing game(there line having to protect) they could hang around for a while. and if you're still hanging around by the 4th who knows what can happen.
  22. this one could get messy. im not sure about this year, but mount pleasant in the past has been its weakest at the corner position, so if you can get a couple good routes then you might can keep it close for the 1st quarter, but mtp's size will wear zion down by the end of the 1st and mtp will probably be out by the middle of the 3rd.
  23. whoa, pickin for the maury county team for once!
  24. after hearing about both games, whoever commits less penalties may come out the victor.
