Glad to hear the Irish are doing well. Don't underestimate the Warriors just because they graduated a couple of guys. They should be a force in this district.

I will give Catholic crdit, they have done well in this district in all sports. I believe they won the district last year in Basketball, Football, and Baseball. But I dont know if they can dominate Basketball this year. Good Luck to every body.

When Catholic has to move up to 4A due to increasing enrollment, will they still play single A teams for their non-conference games.

I am just a HS football fan. Not one of the regular posters of MHS football. But I can tell you this coaching staff has built a football dynasty. They have all of the elements in place for this to continue; good feeder program, outstanding coaches, great support, transfers(prospects are going to want to be a part of this), and a winning tradition. I would like to see MHS play a regional powerhouse each year. I think they would win. This is the best HS football program in Tennessee in any classification. No Question!

" FBEmeritus I would venture to say a DT and a back will definitely have responsibility in deterring Sykes ability to make plays. Many times it will be both on the SAME play. That would be a doubleteam. And of course running away from him would have an impact on his ability to make plays from the DE position. Should be a great game!

Just curious. Who are the DE's that MHS's seniors have seen who are a lot better than Rae Sykes? Regardless of which team you are affiliated with he is an excellent HS player and a definite D1 prospect? Who are these other players?

Maybe some D1 college coaches would be interested to get paid these big $$'s. What about that Bearden guy..........what's his name?...........uh....Garner, maybe he will come home for the right price. Lends new meaning to AA baseball.

He is a junior and he plays for karns. The reason why the ultralions and the arsenal dont combine is because the coaches wont agree on who will take over the team. Both Burak Er (ultralions coach) and Kyle McCoy (arsenal coach) arent willing to just give their teams up. But after this years state tournament Burak is leaving the ultralions so i would probably say that the merge of the two teams will happen this summer.
