The Owls will be 5-1 after this friday night. Macon is a pretty good team, but our defense is playing crazy right now, and is going to be to much for the Tigers passing attack. I loved seeing those dragons come rolling into town averaging about 40 a game, and leave with only 7. Our offense is getting balanced out, Evans had a good night last night, Sanders could have been better, but York did a pretty good job of putting pressure on him. Should be a pretty good game early, but I'll say the Owls win by double digits. I'll give a prediction later in the week.

Well what do ya know, This one's on the Big Ones contest!

The Big Owls will take this one, coming off the nice win over TC. The defense is playing great, and the offense has really taken it up a notch! I think our players are beginning to play with great confidence. Smith County - 28 York - 7

I'm stunned this game isn't on the Big One's contest either. Maybe the reason being though, is because they think it won't even be a game? Who knows? Anyways, good luck tonight Owls, lets get about a 24 or 28 point victory.

Your giving us alot of credit there. I don't think it will be that bad, this should be a great game, TC is at home, playing SC, in danger of starting out the season 1-3. This will not be any blow out, although I would like to see us do that after last year. I'm goin with my Owls, 27-14.

It was all luck this time. I'll never do it again, I just thought it was funny. Here you go though. Smith County - 42 Jackson County - 6 JC will be so happy just to score like G-ville was, they will get a celebration penalty, and miss the extra point. I think the Blue Devils will come out with some fire about em', new coach and all, but they still wont put up much of a fight. I wish them the best this season though, and their coach good luck in turning that program around.

The depth was the major factor, I just mentioned one, there were many throughout the game. Like for instance our O line played alot better in the second half, giving our backs holes to run through. I beleive we also changed defenses as well.

As for superwho, where is he? Maybe he did jump, if so G-ville will have to find someone else to make crazy posts for the rest of the season. As for the game, G-ville played tough, alot tougher than I expected. You guys will be OK. I think, we just finally caught on to Smith left, Smith right, Smith up the middle. Had to sooner or later. I guess rattlesnake went back and hid under his rock, as did all the other G-ville fans. But how can anyone say the better team lost tonite? I will say G-ville shot them selves in the foot quite a few times, but the better team didn't lose. I would like to point out though, that I predicted the score exactly right, 27-6.

Please tell me you do not seriously think G-villes line is better than KC's. If so, You have really lost it.

Who says we love to beat a little 1A team? Here's the deal if we lose to g-ville we hear about it all year, and sometimes longer, but when we win, we don't carry on and on like they do. We have know reason to. The reason we will this year, is because they have got on here and talked so much smack and beleive like every year, they are gonna drill us. Sorry it ain't happening. And I guarantee, next week after we have done won, we still won't be talking about this, but if they did somehow win, G-ville fans will still be talking on this thread the rest of football season. Kickoff is getting closer, and as Glover says, "The beatdown is about to begin!"

Can you blame them though? I mean they haven't exactly had alot to cheer about the last couple years. They just want to see a better team. They just don't admit it yet.

There is no since in arguing with them, they no more about how many people are at our games and what goes on there, than they do their own.

Where are you going with this? I don't know how many times we turned it over, I know we fumbled before half time, that set up their field goal, and both QB's had a pick. All I was saying is that we played good at times, until a turnover hit us. I was pretty much ruling out the first drive, because we never had a chance to really get going it happened on the third play.

Oh, you guys didn't hear? He is most likely not playing tomorrow night, because they were afraid he would get hurt, and not be able to play against JC.

Ok i guess your trying to be smart, yea we played great for two plays, is that what you wanted me to say? I didn't say we played good until the first turnover of the game did I? Or at least I don't recall saying that.

I agree with your comment about having as much heart as the teams in years past. So far this season, I haven't seen it, but it is there, they just need to find it, and when they do, they will be great. The 04' team had tons of heart, and proved it when they were picked third I beleive preseason, and ended up winning the region, and goin on to the 4th round of the playoffs. They were a great team, and fun to watch. I hope this team this year, picks up some of their traits.
