To be completely honest with you, our principal has told us to quit saying s**k during the games. We are still trying to work on getting that cleaned up with the entire student body. Sorry for that. HOWEVER, before you start calling out our fans, take a step back and look at Shelbyville's student section. I was on the front row the whole game, and am 100% sure I heard them say s**k many times more than ours did. I remember it very well because I said to some, "how can we say it and get in trouble and them get away with it?". Thank you for being so kind to point out our mistakes, but watch your fan's also.

Heard at school that this game was "Big Kahuna Night" or something like that. Wanted to know if anyone had any information on it. Such as do they sell out quick, what goes on during the game, etc. Thanks

Central's gym is very spacious. The place just has a "high school gym" feel to it if that makes sense. I was under the impression that only PART of the lower level was reserved for season ticket holders, maybe not. We definitely look forward to you coming back!

This gym is pretty loud but when Columbia Central came to play our student section was louder than GC's and we had less people. I am in the student section for Central, so I can't really tell how loud or intimidating we are. We usually have alot of students there and we stand on the lower level right next to the floor. At every away game we have students, whether it be only the people that spell out GO LIONS or that plus about twenty. No matter what we try our best to be as loud as possible. In our gym especially, I personally would hate playing right next to our section. If I had to guess I would say we have one of the best and loudest student sections/gyms in middle Tennessee...better than most schools we have played at.

I am a Columbia fan, and think it was a great game. Shelbyville controlled the first half and Columbia had a little more fire in the second half. Im just wondering about the clock situation. There were a couple instances where the clock was running when it shouldnt have been like after Brown's injury and after she got off the field when the clock continued for ten seconds or more while the ref was re-doing a drop kick. Not saying the outcome of the game would have changed, but ten+ seconds could had made a slight difference in the ending

Columbia scored first, then Blackman scored.Columbia scored again, then Blackman scored again. Columbia's defense shut down for about fifteen minutes and Blackman put two in within five minutes of each other. 4-2 at half. Columbia came out strong in second, but so did Blackman. Columbia scored on a killer free kick and then scored again. Last minute of the game, Columbia defender tripped a kid in the box for a pk. Blocked by the keeper, then it deflected off the post, right back to the shooter. The shooter probably was suprised to see the ball back that quick, and kicked it wide. The first overtime went by with little action. Blackman scores with five minutes left in second OT. It was our (Columbia) best game of the season, and we fought hard. Blackman is a good team, and they found a way to win (which I dont think is how they thought the game would go at all) It kinda took them by suprise. Really good game, got a little rough it times. Couple yellows for every team. Really fun to be a part of.

REASONS I BELIEVE; 1. FAIRNESS TO ALL TEAMS. 2. WHEN WOULD THE COFFEE CO GAME BE PLAYED ? SUNDAY? THEN COFFEE COUNTY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ONE LESS DAY TO REST. 3. RIVERDALES DISRTICT DID THE SAME THING. PLAYED 3 GAMES FRIDAY. THE 4TH WAS RAINED OUT AND GOT SEVERAL PLAYERS OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY TO PLAY EARLY GAMES. THEY ONLY PLAYED 1 GAME SATURDAY AND NO GAMES SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY. 4. COLUMBIA HAD TO WAIT SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE THEY GOT TO PLAY LAST YEAR AND WON THE TOURNAMENT. 5. WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE COLUMBIA-TULLAHOMA AND NOT LINCOLN COUNTY AND COFFEE COUNTY. WHAT IF COLUMBIA HAD LOST THEN THEY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ONE DAY LESS THAN THE OTHER LOSER. 6. ALSO A LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME THEIR IS A MTSCA MEETING WHICH MEANS WE MAY NOT HAVE HAD REPRESENTATION FOR OUR THE GIRLS IN OUR DISTRICT AT THE MEETING. THEY WILL BE SELECTING THE ALL MTSCA TEAM AT THAT MEETING. I WOULD BET THE HOUSE THAT RIVERDALE WILL BE AT THAT MEETING. 7. WHY BE IN SUCH A HURRY TO GET THE TOURNAMENT OVER WITH. BY RULE WE NEED TO HAVE 2 TEAMS READY 1 WEEK FROM MONDAY READY FOR THE REGION. WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET DONE BY MONDAY AND THEN WAIT A WEEK BEFORE YOU PLAY IN THE REGION? 8. THE SAME LITTLE BIRDIE TOLD ME THAT WE HAVE FINISHED A DISRTICT TOURNAMENT ON SUNDAY AND BOTH OUR DISTRICT TEAMS PLAYED EACH OTHER IN THE REGION FINAL. COLUMBIA-COFFEE SEVERAL YEARS AGO. DID NOT SEEM TO BOTHER THEM. NO SHANANGINS JUST COMMON SENSE.

Columbia Central beat Columbia Academy 8-1 on Thursday night. Columbia's first scrimmage, I think it was Ca's also CA was without three starters including their starting goalie.

ok can anyone explain to me the exact ruling on coming off the goalline on a pk? i have always been told that you have to keep your heels on the line til the ball is kicked... but in other situations, I have watched a game where no one stayed on the line at all i may be wrong about the "keep your heels on the line" rule(and i think i am), but every referee that walks up to me says" heels on the line until its kicked" over about the past two years i've been really confused on what to do because im really not that good at stoppin them..just wondering if any body could clarify thx
