I believe that the coaches in region 2-5A voted for the awards. Now who's opinion do YOU think carries more weight. The coaches or the Ya-Hoos on CoachT. Nuf-said about this stupid thread.

We have a group that would like to come up early and set up a tailgate party. Do you have an area around the stadium that would work for this? Any suggestions?

The Red Bank coach would not renew the contract. I would also like to see them play again. Maybe if Red Bank played someone good they would not have the results they had when they faced a real football team.

What kind of shape is the field in. This could be a factor if we play in a mud pit.

Rumor has it that the Owls have been working on a new offense all year and have yet to show their hand. Not to give anything away but the QB's dad ran it in HS and College. They have the players to make it work so don't be surprised if you see a brand new O run all over the ads.

All the Freshman will play Saturday. Four of their better one's have not played all year???? They all play every Fresham game. 4 were allowed to dress for the Varsity. The only player that plays or should play is the kicker. This is also the first year any Freshman were even allowed to dress until the Freshman season was over. Saturday should be a good indication of how they will do in 2-3 years. The Senior class this year beat a very good Oak Ridge team 4 years ago. OHS Freshman has the speed to beat anybody. They just don't have the overall size that the Farragut team will probably have. The good thing is as it was with the Varisity vs a bigger Faragut. SPEED KILLS

My Bad. The Owls open on August 18 at Cookville. I am sure that Benny has plenty of scrimmages lined up before that date. They usually have most of these done before they get into their game week prep. If you would like to see them why don't you go over to Cleveland and watch them during the Sat scrimmage they have every year. These will be teams that they don't play like Polk and Cleveland as they have done in the past. Don't know the date or teams but I'm sure someone from Cleveland can tell you. I do hope that Bradley IS much better this year. It helps everyone in the region if they can play competitive games each week and not play starters just one half and make the backups run the same play every time. I do think that Heritage & McMinn will be alot better this year.

Maybe because they have a real game on August 16. I also think the Bears better be concerned about what the Owls have coming back and not what they lost. If the players coming back don't sound familiar its because in most real programs you don't see Freshman and sophmores and some Jr's get alot of playing time. The term reload comes to mind. What you don't know WILL hurt you!
