I watched Rossview last night in lebanon. They really had a tough night with turnovers and playing in sink. I think Cheatham will have the edge tonight. Rossveiw could be tired from playing last night. Both teams can shoot the rock but it should come down to turnovers. Who ever scores off turnovers and has the least amount should win

I am sorry, you are right. NW played CHS and lost. Montgomery Central lost to Station Camp. I think Cheatham will be ok if they can handle the scoring spurts. We are the underdog and they are favored by 20 I am sure

I know Station Camp beat NW and the Cubs lost to them by two. It could be a close game if the Cubs come out ready to play. Last year Cheatham played with the Vikings until halftime and then fell apart. As bowers and Smith go so does the Cubs. One key is for Blake to have a good shoting night and our post get easy transtion pionts. If the Cubs win it will be big for them.

There is noway Dansby is better then Smith. And Sal should not be elagable to play. Harpth will be better but Waverly and Sycomore are the two best teams in the district.

Coach Jones Adopted him I don't think Caoch Wilson can do the same.

I think it will be a good year. The Cubs should win 15 ball games this year. I don't think they will start off well. It is tough to beat NW, Rossview, and Kenwood to start out the year. If we could win just one that would be great. Alex Bowers helps out a ton and we have some good shooters. Our size will hurt us most of the year

The cubs came out looking sharp and won by 40. It was a balanced attack with everyone scoring. The cubs face a tough challange friday as they go to Northwest.

Clarksville is and always has been a hotbed for basketball. I played at CHS in 89 and all the schools had great talent. And agian many years later with Hassell, Marion, and Marcus. Can this year has the same kind of excitment in the city. I know the worst team is CA. They have no talent at all since Bowers is gone. Bowers will play at the next level some where. I like Branden Burney but I am alittle bais. I played with his brother in high school. I just ready for a team from Clarksville win it all. We are due.

I agree with NorthMemphis, Stewart County should be better but a fourth place finish would be a great year. They along with Cheatham will be scary teams to play. They are hard to prepare for and they play hard.

There is no doubt that Sycamore will be good. Barry Jones is a good coach and he has a good staff. I still think Waverly right now will finish first. They didn't really lose anyone and they give the war eagle fits over last few years. Both teams are going to battle for the top and the other teams will fight for third. I feel that Creekwood and Cheatham are the teams nobody wants to play. Cheatham sweep Waverly last year but got sweep by Sycamore. You just never know how things will play out. It should be a tough year and an exciting one for 10AA

I think this district will be tuff this year. About every team has one stand out player that can lead their team to a victory. The key this year is how the role players play. Will someone step up night after night and help his team win. I think you have to give the nod to Waverly and Sycamore to being one and two. The rest will battle it out. The key is to win the games you are expected to and then win a few your not. I think the teams nobody wants to play is Cheatham and Creekwood. Cheatam again will be better then their record. The open with Cascade,Northwest,Rossveiw,and Kenwood. That is tuff way to start off the year. It should be an exciting year and anything can happen.

This game is about match-ups. Can the Cubs hold Sycamores big men in check. Can Sycamores big guys guard out on the perimerter. The cubs have been shooting and playing defence better. They are a much better team then when they first met. Cheatham is a tough place to play but sycamore should win. They are expected to win. There is no pressure on the cubs. If they lose no one will be surprized but if they win they will shock everyone(exept themselfs). I think the cubs are still being over looked but they were 1-27 last year so they are not expected to beat good teams.

Tonight game is a toss-up as long as both teams shoot the ball well. Harpeth like to spreed the floor and drive in the gap for a kick out three. They also like to trap all over the floor. Waverly will have to handle the ball much better, at least better then when they played Cheatham Co.It is a big game because if Waverly wins it is just them and Sycamore at the top of the district and everyone else fighting for thrid. One key for Harpeth is to be physical with Bubba Nichols. He does not play as well if he is bumped around allnight

The cubs won tonight in overtime 64 to 60. Waverly jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter but the cubs cut is to 2 pionts at half. It was a huge win at this point of the year. It was the wosrt shooting night for the cubs this season but hustle was the reason they got a victory tonight. The cubs are one of the most dangerous teams in the midstate. If they come ready to play everynight the more victorys could pile up.

The cubs are much improved over last year. They have upset Rossveiw and beat Montgomory Central by 14. Over the christmas break they lost by 2 pionts to Goodpasture. The game Friday will be better then most people think. One reason is becuase it is a home game for the cubs. That is a tuogh place to shoot and play. And second, It is a most win to gain an advantge in the district. Waverly is very good and has a great shooter, so it will be a tuogh win to get. If the players do what the coaches ask and not do their own thing then a win is possiable

Will any of these teams go deep in the playoffs. Anything can happen if matchups are right.

Everyone talks about the best teams and players but what are some teams (with bad records) that can upset some good teams. Just A differnt twist to think about because I am sure these teams are the ones you don't want in the playoffs.

CA will be up and down all year. With no stong post game and few shooters it will be hard to put together wins. Just play a box and one on Bowers and let everyone else beat you. With Fisher at MCHS they should finish toward the bottom of the district. Mcewen is the real deal and should win the district title.
