we hope that coach p is going to ripley. not many here likes the guy. he nevers stays anywhere long. make me think he is hiding something. why does he always want to take another man with him?????? maybe his asst. coach will stay in lc. rumors says he will get the job. i heard that coach p asked the new superintendent for a $5,000 a year raise but found out the superintendent can't give a raise unless approved by the school board. his attitude stinks so maybe he can get out of this one horse town.

SUSPENDED???? our new coach will never suspend a player or at least that is what he told them early in the year. The superstar that QUIT was the same thug that pulled the gun on another thug on the street and LC coach P went to court with him and told the judge he would be responsible for him. Yes Bogan is hurt but he is not the one who had over 150 return yards against McKenzie. It was #20 the Bly kid. He is the bright spot on this team and if not mistaken he is only a JR. Greenfield wins this one because of no discipline and very little heart on the LC squad. Did I say Greenfield? Who would of ever thunk it? Gleason, we are in your corner. I'd rather have a good ole tator anyday than a tornado. Go Dawgs!!!!

I agree, McKenzie does have a great team on both sides of the ball. Kick off coverage is a little weak for that was our only bright spot all night. Speed kills and the Rebs proved it. It was poor sportsmanship on Mckenzie's coach to keep passing the ball trying to score when they were up 50-0. They had already beat our tails so what was the point? Now our coach didn't even want the cheerleaders on the sideline cheering. He wanted them to get in the stands and cheer. Whoever heard of that. I see he didn't get his way though. Instead of worry about the cheerleaders maybe it would be a good ideal to worry about playing football. The last time we gave up 50 points or more to Mckenzie we did score too and it was 54-53. 50-0 is not Lake County football. When a head coach tells his team at the half that McKenzie was playing like champions and we can't beat them, that's wrong. No motivator. Then when a true born Falcon speaks up for his team and school pride the coach tells him to take off his uniform because he's done for the night is even more wrong. With an attidtude like that coach P no wonder your a looser. Hats off to the Rebs, great speed, sharp QB, and tough defense. Everybody comes to see the offense but defense wins championship and you have both. Good luck in the playoffs.

the falcons are too young to match up with the rebs. we do have a few playmakers but not on defense. we have no coverage in the secondary. long night for the falcons unless they pull a rabbit out of a hat but not likely. our qb wants passing yds instead of wins. yes his name will be in the lc record book along with the losses. too bad he is not a true lc kid instead of a dyer co implant. never the less, coach p better not pull out too many senior players or a certain moma might just go off again like she did on coach p following the south fulton game. moma, let the coach coach, not you!!!!!!!!!!

Your right the coach should of stopped the trash talking but didn't and it cost us. that is why I said the coach was responsible for all the reasons i mentioned in my earlier post. the coach should of reminded his young qb that it was 4th down and forever and he must throw the ball even if a chance of an interception because it would be turned over on downs anyways but the qb needs or should of known this even if he was a little tot qb. now why did the coach not dress his team out in practice all week when this was a big game against bruceton, a region game, and homecoming? maybe that is how it was done in the Georgia big league but not here. i think he is confused. it is not who looks the best but who plays the best. give jarvis the ball----give jarvis the ball----one more time---give jarvis the ball and see what happens

The difference in this game was not the expected chad jordon or the cornbread fed big fullback. It was a lc qb who held the ball too long on to many plays. He took sack after sack even on 4th down. sometimes you just have to throw the ball especially 4th down. the play calling be the coach was poor. when you have a big strong back of your own and your on the 5 yd line and don't give him the ball but run a qb sneak you need to wake up. bruceton could not tackle jarvis so that was sure points on the board that we left off. taking nothing from chad jordon and the full back, both were good but not great as most says. so what cost lake county the game? 1. poor qb decisions 2. no discipline-players running mouth and getting penalty after penalty 3. coach, for he is responsible for all the above. remove these 3 things and Lake County could of beat Bruceton. Oh I did forget one thing. The poor job by the refs! Good luck to Bruceton the rest of the way. Glad to see you beat union city for they have no business in our region of single A football. and i approve this message!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there are discipline problems at every high school but the kid with the gun was not a school issue. That is why the coach should of never went to court with the kid. You even said "most of the players on that team are good kids" so now your putting down part of the team (LC Kids) in a bad way. Yes the coach is new but he is not new to coaching. That's the difference!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your even right about coach Barger having a player who got in trouble but coach B did not go to court and the player was suspended for a couple of games. What coach P did was tell his players that he will not punish them for wrong actions. You can't more wrong than pulling a gun on another human being. Maybe football is more important to you than human life but I bet if that human life was your baby coach p would not be your hero for standing up for a gunman. you sound like the kind of guy who would stand out in the hot summer heat to get OJ's autograph. That is exactly what you get with a new coach and no discipline. .the new coach P went to court with a player who pulled a gun on another young man. Is that discipline???? The new coach needs to let street trouble stay on the streets and not on the team. This player would have been removed from the team if coach B was still the man. I bet if the same player was not a starter the same coach would of never went to the judge and said he would be responsible for the kids action. we need to get ready for gleason instead of locker room scuffles and name calling between coaches and players or we may just get slapped up side the head. that would be an awful shame if we let that happen. if our QB mr hollywood don't share the ball then we are in for a long night in tater town.

now come on where are those fans who said lake co would have the edge on coaching? if you were there you seen that fumble follies and poor play calling cost us the game. this is the worst union city team that i have ever seen take a field and they spanked us or should i say we spanked ourself. neither team needs to worry about mckenzie but needs to worry about gleason and greenfield because both uc and lc played like gleason and south fulton and greenfield. both uc and lc better be glad they are in a weak region or both would be home for the first round. poor football by both teams but uc took advantage of the red zone where lc just laid the ball on the ground. 6 or 7 trips to the red zone and no points, now that is play calling. the young qb for lc needs to give up the ball sometimes and maybe we would score. wide open receivers and he runs the ball time and time again. he is no springer so pass the ball please. i know we had 200 plus yards passing but no cookie. quit thinking about stats and newspapers and play ball. mckenzie and buthie will have to make 71a proud this year because come late season thats the only team from 71a that will be around to cheer on. long long year for lc unless we protect the football. maybe we need to walk the halls next week with a backpack in one hand and a good ole football in the other to get used to holding one. coach p, we've had enough pizza movies sleepovers and fumbles so now lets see that coaching kick in. it's time don't you think????

I agree any player who waits until Aug to show up should shut up and sit in the bleachers or stay home. the coach was right about that. i hear rumors that coach p expected the booster club to give him $100,000 now get real even ole union city couldn't do that and wanting to change the colors to black and green now get real it will has always been green and gold do you think a coach should have the right to change school colors? you take a team you take their colors now i can smell the smoke from the field now so i guess it is time to get on down the street good luck and go big green & gold bet i know who makes the most tackles gitter done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

coach p will never be the coach coach b was. why would a coach leave 4a in ga and land in tn at a 1a school? was he run off? this move makes no sense knowing lake co lost 12 or 13 seniors. nothing against the fine players we have now but something smells fishy. this 1 horse town must have had something he liked since he is here now. coach p never coached in the nfl. just a rumor. check his past to see whats in the closet and let us know.

I agree with you FalconLB_51 What a shame for home folk to tell you your a loser and claim to be your fan. Even the good ole faithful banner picked the golden tide over you. that my son is motivation to prove them wrong. all these old has beens would of felt the same way if coach t was around in their days and some old guy told them they would lose. most of these non believers won't be there anyway because i'm sure they are too smart to waste money on a ticket since they know the outcome. i really thought the 5 quarter would have been on tonight since we know all the scores before friday even rolls around. my son is in middle school football and nobody thought they would win but wait they did. getter done big green

has anyone heard that coach jimmy whitby was asked to resign for telling his players that if they played football he would cut them from his team? If it is true I sure hope the jr high girls coach don't move up there. Any news????
