Thanks for repeating what I said, jp2fan. Youre a man with many words and thoughts. As for enrollment, it may be down at FR, but it will go back up. Soon, when JPII is older, it will balance out. I know all the 8th graders love to pick JPII cause its new, and the "cool" place to go. What do 13 year olds really know anyway? But from what I hear, there have been a few transfers to FR from upper classman at JPII. Plus, you keep mentioning our fan base. Who have you met besides for the few on this board that back the Irish?

Tullahoma? Are you serious? Yes, they have an amazing concert band, but the marching band is lackluster. One successful season in a long time, does not make the best. And Tullahoma wasnt the best last year. You LOST to McGavock, again. You want to be the best? Try going to some real competitions like MCI and CoC, or even BOA. Then beat McGavock.

Yes, this will be a great game. Sounds like they are getting a little full of themselves and probably think Ryan will be a push over. Which they wont be.

If any of you actually knew anything about bands in TN, you would know on an unbiased opinion, that McGavock consistantly put out the best band in the state every year. Cleveland are becoming another good band. Columbia Central always has a good band. Dobynns-Bennett is another great one. Munford is good, when competing in the west. As far as small bands.... Mt. Juliet, Page, and of course Father Ryan have been the most consistant for years. Ravenwood is making their way to the top. Harpeth has always been good. And to whoever said Lipscomb... they dont have a marching band anymore.

I hope the team doesnt rely on Tate to win the game for them. He cant do it on his own. FR is hungry for the win, so JPII shouldnt expect an easy 'W' in their column.

Father Ryan has been bad for years now. I blamed it on the coaching. But the new coach, Bruce Lussier, is getting the team back into playoff mode. It may take a few more years to build, but he'll get them there Last year, JPII embarassed Father Ryan. I know the rivalry is growing between these two schools, so I could say FR will be out for revenge. Im going to go out on a limb and say FR takes it 20-19. I havent been to a FR game since 2003, but this is the one I will probably make it to this year.
