  1. Sorry for the Mis interp Comp no harm meant, I just thought wow I cant believe that was said /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Week in week out my wife and I say each game , if no ones recruiting Fletch they are CRAZY (Certifiable). If he falls to a lower division school they are getting a steal on Taylor in the running game. Awesome football player who never quits on any play plus everytime I have spoken to him on the field and off hes one of the more mature young men I have spoken too. Heads on straight so I see no problem with him making a future for himself with or without football. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Same with Bradley and all the others Ive talked too, W/O a doubt the most mature team minded group South has had in quite awhile.
  2. Cap I am shocked you would post this, you sure your a Rebel fan?? Pretty deflating to your own son and the rest of the Rebels. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />
  3. Eight dropped passes in the wide recievers hands is what had him duress in my eyes.
  4. I agree with you and I think Fletcher, Davenport, Taylor, Kitzmiller and the whole offense will have a field day on it Friday. I'm sure Greeneville is better but so is South. South 28 Greeneville 21
  5. Cant remeber your QBs name Cap but my wife and I both thought he was a great overall passer, he burnt us on a couple long balls and they were on the money and no one could have thrown them better. If hes getting better by the week look out LOL. If his wide recievers hold up thier end of the bargain could be lights out if any1 stacks the box.
  6. I'll have to pull for the Vikings in this battle of powerhouses. I would love to see a South TN High rematch next week in round three in Death Valley if we both make it through. Vikes 24 Devils 14
  7. W/O a doubt realreb we CANNOT afford it in the playoffs. I think we will come out fire up this week and ready to rock. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. No Actually we have Davenport, Fletcher and Taylor to do it for us now /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  9. Congrats out to Bradley Devenport for breaking a standing school record that was held by Curt Phillips at 4 TD in one game. Bradley had 5 in the round one win against Cherokee. Shaky start w/ the pick but showed his mettle w/ an outstanding comeback for the win, I think he connected with every Rebel that could recieve the ball. All in all this is a much better and well rounded team this year than in the last 3 years when defenses could key on our star knowing his number was called 60% of plays. Davenports great mix of run/pass capabilities makes him hard to defend and to scheme against with his ability to read the defense and adjust at the line. By no means is it all Davenport, the supporting cast is TOP notch with threats all over the field for the Rebels with Kitzmiller and Fletcher catching most everything thrown thier way. Go Rebels and March on to State, lets get fired up and eliminate the slow starts for we cannot afford that deep in the run. GRATZ #4 on new School Record
  10. South by 21, too many offensive weapons to hold them down. Grats Rebels on a Round one win an Davenport breaking the school TD record!!!!!!
  11. I think the Vikes will win this game and something tells me South will see them again in the playoff future lol. To much talent to go out early and quietly. South won yes but no one was more surprised than i of how well we controlled the tempo. We may have awoken a sleeping giant =) Good luck in the playoffs Vikings! And BTW great sportsmanship throughout the game and afterwards, players and fans alike were class acts in this game, something to be proud of Cap /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Very physical game no doubt but South prevailed in the trenches in this one. We had a battle of the running backs w/ Fletcher coming out on top in this game, i think though not posted yet that Fletcher will just barely lose the regular season rushing title by a mere 44 yards!! But just remeber Sheppard had about 70 more tries with it than Fletcher over the course of the season. I'll have to agree w/ Mountainman on the officiating of this game, it was SUB-par at best, blatant blocks in the back and holds never called on THS it was a sight to behold. GREAT JOB REBELS NOW CONTINIUE THE MARCH TO STATE!
  13. Davenport has a concussion?? Where are you getting this information LOL, I'm unsure on these other injuries you speak of but I know for a fact Davenport has no concussion.
  14. Too much talent and depth for DB, Science Hill has a great squad no doubt but I dont think they will hold up well against DB. DB 28 SH 14
  15. What were the field conditions in that game Cap? Pour rain the entire first half w/ people slipping making cuts or really hard to catch a wet ball in the passing game? Real hard to compare those 2 games with the weather difference between the two on game day IMO. SOUTH 35 THS 28 I think this game will be alot tighter than most think. I think we will slow Sheppard but I dont think he can be stopped.
  16. Yep sounds like a Cold and Wet night for this game, 1 word of advise.............Protect the football!! Most likely to become a ground N pound game
  17. Bradley Davenport QB #4 Sullivan South high School This Year 1037 Yards passing @63%, 14 passing touch downs, passer rating is about the highest in the area 121.8 QB rating 676 yards rushing w/ a 8.5 yard per carry average, 9 rushing touchdowns 39.7 yard Punting average These stats are w/ only 3 games played past the 2nd quarter, played only a half most of the year. His ability to read defenses and check off at the line of scrimmage are something else as well as his maturity beyond his years. A Christian role model for all.
  18. South by 21, you just cant seem to slow or stop that offense. The adjustments at the half and the reads at the line of scrimmage are just a thing of beauty. Hats off to Souths coaching staff!
  19. Well I for one am glad to see Souths starters finally getting some work before playoffs, But on the stats padding note..... I for one think if I was a coach on North I would be ashamed of some of my players attitudes and how they presented themselves and thier team. I dont know who #2 is on North nor do I want to after his repeated childish display at the coin toss and 2nd hal possession meeting turning his back on the South captains and walking away mouthing while the other North player shook hands. plain and simple NO CLASS. If Norths coaching staf promotes this then they need to look up the word SPORTSMANSHIP. Then #2 got a personal on him for mouthing of once again in the second half. The shouts from North about breaking our starters Necks and so on continualy during warm up, PATHETIC learn some restraint This young man needs some coaching on life, He was truely a BOY amongst men. Grats South on another good win, next 2 weeks wont get any easier on you. Cap as you stated no respectable Football fan would apreciate startes in the fourth but for sure NO respectable football fan wants to see the immaturity players on Norths team were displaying. SHame on Norths coaching staff for not reeling them in and pressing sportsmanship.
  20. SOUTH 35 NORTH 14 Ball contro lfor the Raiders but I think we can contain inside and keep them from eating up too much clock, North Has yet to really be forced to pass the ball, Major run heavy. TOO MUCH "O " for the Rebels. Davenport will Orchestrate yet another Grand Symphony!
  21. "South RB lucky to touch it 10 times" I seem to remember Fletcher gettin the ball over 30 times in Science Hill game LOL, and if you look at the stats and numbers of carries hes gotten alot time with the ball as well as being involved in the passing game, Hes a weapon NO DOUBT. South can be run heavy at times which thats what it takes to open the field up for the long ball. In this weeks game versus East South was really run happy but it was spread from back to back, I think every RB in Souths Depth chart ran the ball for us against East. Fletcher Deffinatly has to be included amongst the best in NE TN, he gives us the WOW moment week in and week out. There is no telling the numbers he and Davenport could produce with full games, which they need to start doing getting close to playoff time. My guess is they will the next 3 weeks LOL. FLETCHER HAS 10 carries for 45 in Johnson Co. (but huge in passing game) 14 carries for 116 in Central game 14 carries for 136 in Boone game 31 carries for 196 in Science Hill game 4 carries for 157!!! in Unicoi CO. game Geeneville and East game didnt show individual stats but Fletch Had touchdowns in both.
  22. I think it will be a South win but it wont be handed to us by no means. Easts miscues made the North score look alot worse than it actually was so I expect them to give us a fight in the first half anyway and keep it somewhat close but after halftime adjustments I think the Big"O" will roll heavily. Kudos to our defense for making a stop on the opponents first drive this week. Ithink it was the first initial drive stop of the season, South put up 7 first then cruised away w/ most of the starters sitting at the half. South 49 East 14
  23. South 42 Central 14 my predictions Just like Hoople stated............Too much Davenport, too much Kitzmiller and too much Fletcher I'm pretty certain Bobby will not be back due to personal off field issues, everyone wishes him the best of luck.
