Well this were me and you disagree becuase i was pretty disappointed with our pass rush, not to mention northside had wide open recievers all over the field. their quarterback was just way to inaccurate to make us pay.

I'm from Henry County all the way over here in west tn and i can tell you a big reason they win a lot of state titles is coaching. if you had the pleasure of knowing coach quarles then you would understand. they've got a good group of guys over there that i would like to think is the 2nd best coaching staff in the state just behind HC /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> . but serioulsy if your truly a football fan then you know there are no excuses in the game. regardless their enrollment they can only put 11 on the field. hopefully my boys from Henry county will have a chance to meet up with maryville this year cause that means we're doing something right. good luck to the rebs the rest of the year and don't let this hogwash bother ya

First off let me address the scheduling issue. you make your schedule out every two years. thats why we played ridgeway and jackson southside in 05 and 06, and actually in 2006 Henry County had the #1 toughest schedule in 4A. well after the 06 season. it was time to find opponents to fill ridgeways spot along with southside and kenwood. westview called and wanted to play us. milan turned us down along with numerous other west and middle tn schools. So when we made that schedule out we had to play it to honor the two year contract for the games hence the schedule being the exact same this year. so thats why our non region schedule looks the way it does. now onto JYD just chill out man.

I heard his name was justin williams. he had 47 carries tonight for 335 yards. and they lost to jcs i believe.

What have you heard bout the players and schemes at westview this year?

what's your basis on this pick? have you seen westview play? if so what should we expect from them to help lead them to this squeaker of a victory? and the milan thing is a whole nother issue which shouldn't apply to the talk about this game.

There's a WV v.s henry county thread on the 3A-4A-5A classes page too. but anyway henry county is very fired up for this game. I think the big red will definately win but will have to play a great game. westview is always tough so i look forward to a great game.

hey everybody, from what i'm hearing DC has ditched that spread they ran at us last year and has went to a ball control stack I. Our d-line is gonna have to control that line of scrimmage this week if we're gonna win. you know going to DC that their boys will be fired up and wanting some revenge after last years loss. so go big red

Whats up ol' buddies? first of all i would like to say that I agree with you on the d-line realgame, but we're still a week a way from the opener, so just calm down and let it play itself out. Coach reggie is a darn good d-line coach and will get the boys where they need to be. just have a little faith. and as far the whole passing issue goes, yea it's a little weak but it will come around. plus you don't need to have that great of a passing game with the running ability that we possess. lastly, WHEWWW!!!! Can everybody feel it back in the air again. I love football season. go big red!!

First thing I would like to do is turn this conversation back to its original purpose. Our patriots have definately got the weapons, but we have to remember football games our won up front in the trenches, and our offensive line has got to continue to get better. Secondly, our defense is going to have to have some people step up. running three d-linemen I think will hurt us but, we don't really have an option. One good thing is we have plenty of time to get ready and some good test before the season starts. We as fans have to remember not to put the cart before the horse. with that said go patriots!!!

This loss is on the coach. he needs to start putting the best team on the floor and right now he's not doing that. And it's completly ridiculous, also it's extremely ridiculous that we got blown out. I'm am tired of hearing he was good in missouri because he's horrible in tennesse and can't get the job done.
