This Brentwood vs IHS at IHS is going to be one heck of a game!

Is there anywhere on the Internet (other than the short list on TSSAA of state champions) that gives the season or career records for things like pins, take downs, stuff like that???

Seems to me the winner of the Gabriel and Daniel match will do well the rest of the bracket.... IMO

I just dont see how you can have Franklin and Brentwood Higher than Independence when IHS has clearly beaten them in regional duels and individual the last couple of weeks..... Just my thoughts...

Congrats SHS... You won the game and my respect! I have no excuses to throw out... I dont like to make them anyway. The only thing I would say to differ is, I think one of your D linemen deserved that MVP more than Wilks... but not trying to start anything.. they just seemed way more dominate in this game. SHS won.. My team came in second. But.. I'm so proud of that second place team I don't know what I could do. I will look at that silver ball in the case every day second semester and be able to smile for all the fun Friday nights I was able to experience my senior year. I can tell you.. the true IHS fans who know what they are talking about wont make excuses on this board... they will show you respect.. The ones who do come on here and talk.... we don't like them any more than you... Coach U.. I hope you see this when I say.. Thanks for the great year!!! There is no other coach I would like to see lead the boys.. I loved listening to all those after game speeches this year! Keep up the good work. To everyone else.. Dont take anything away from the Indy team... They got here, they never quit..... Its been fun coach t!!! Thanks

IHS by 10 Im more than positive that the IHS boys are just as ready if not more ready than SHS.... Theses seniors want this.. this school wants this.. I cant wait Good luck to both teams and I hope for no injurys tonight! Hit em in the mouth boys Go Eagles

That is the truth!!! I have loved this team since the beginning.. from the 1-9 season to the near miss of the playoffs.. to watching these seniors take control of there final year... I love this team... and these couple of days will be a blast!

I have read lots about Smyrna's great pass offense and how well they have been clicking in the playoffs. Earlier posts say it will be hard to stop. I agree with this, but I want to know why IHS hasnt been mentioned for this same stat... In playoffs this year... SHS - 135.5 avg. passing 112.5 avg. rushing IHS - 216.25 avg passing 142.2 avg. rushing Cant argue with that.... Both teams D will have to step up in this one... Seems to me like the qb who has refused to lose this season is alex heckman...... Just throwing that out there! This is going to be one amazing game!!! I cant wait to go support my team and play a good Smyrna team who deserves to be there just as much as we do. And before this gets out of hand... will some IHS students/alum..... cough.... please think before they post.. Go IHS!!!! I cant wait to see this game Saturday in the boro!!

Someone asked for this to be said and I will say it.. Millington... Your running backs... BAD #### by far!! Yall are a GREAT team and I give you all the respect I can try. It seemed like we would stop yall for a 2nd and long and it would be a 3rd and one or 1st down everytime... I very very impressed and would like to see yall make a run next year. IHS... im proud of you... keep up the respect.. I dont want to see any people acting 5 on here... Millington was a great team and that was a great game!

Thanks.. I can tell you, the fans that show up to the game will treat millington with respect... We will be loud! might be 1 or 2 knuckleheads as we all know but for the most part, I am proud of the students who represent this school. We hope to arrive around 6 pm and do a little music listening and preparation for the game. I have a question... Are the stands like the metal (built to fit) stands or is it like a concrete stadium type deal. I hear multiple teams share this stadium... How is the field holding up this late in the season?? One thing that is a plus is IHS never seems to have to chase kids down..... The D always seems to have that one extra guy to make the tackle... One thing about our D is they seem to bend but not break(if thats the best way to put it). The Team really works like a TEAM because of the seniors who spent 4 years of starting together, building this team to what it is. Now im not even going to pretend we have gone up against two rb's with 4.4 speed but like D said above.. these guys gameplan and seem to be in the right spot a lot. I love the game of football and cant wait to see these millington guys.... Great future for them I hope! Oh and is there a link to pure game by game stats like thetennessean offers??? The funny thing about our fans are the ones who seem to talk S*** on here dont show up to the games... The group that will be traveling to your stadium come friday will be loud for our team and truly love watching football. The group of fans that will be attending will be loud most of the game and will support the Eagles no matter the "weather". Good luck to both teams.. I hope for an injury free game!!!!!! It seems to me that whoever wins will have a very good shot a winning it all! Personally I will say Indy by 10 I have faith in my team and my friends who put it all on the line every friday. Well to answer.. IHS has a very stout D which the starters have not let up more than 14 since week 3... And really most points have come against the JV squad. We play in a very tough region which seems to be "weak" because everyone beats each other. You have to be on your A game every single week to win the region. We showed weakness in size our first two weeks against BA and MBA. But have been pretty solid. Improvement... Everywhere.... we were left for dead after the loss to franklin and we pushed through... But IMO I would say the o-line and d-line have improved the most. And I will mention Ryan Consiglio and so will the Millington field announcer all night because he will hit you in the mouth.... Just ask every will. co. running anf quater back... He is one of the top in the state, with 140+ tackles for sure.. not positive on the exact number... tnsparty may could help with that... Pettigrew our running back can be mentioned also with 1200+ rushing yards by running people flat over. Thats just a little info on IHS I know MHS has shut out some teams... any D stats you have??

Just keep underestimating this IHS team... keep on... just ask every other team who has this year also... Not taking anything away from millington but you will meet some hard hitting linebackers next friday. We have rode this stout D so far and they just have not broken...... If we need to pack a big D line as you said, then yall need to pack the heart, b/c we will surely bring that!

So is anyone else tired of these 1-5 post people posting the freaking novels about why one team or the other stinks... I know you have to have your first to get to 100 but good lord.. its a little late in the game isnt it?? I wish the "trolls" as sparty calls them would just stay away... I have IHS by 10 in what should be best game of the year... No matter the outcome I am proud of my team for getting this far and I am proud of our region!
