Arlington lost a close game to Archbishop McCarthy (FL) 3 - 1, Max Prep's #1 ranked team in the country, They play Hamilton (AZ) @ 9:30 and Merritt Island (FL) @ 7:30 today.

Wanted to wish Arlington High School Good Luck this week as they participate in the USA High School Invitational in Cary, NC. They drew an extremely talented team from Bishop McCarthy (FL) as their first round game.

Collierville 1 - 0 over Bartlett.

Arlington 5 - 0 over Houston.

Arlington will be playing an extremely difficult schedule this week. Pitching will be tested. Monday - Bolton (16 - 6) district game. Neighborhood rivalry. Tuesday - Collierville (25 - 6) Defending state champion. Enough said Wednesday - Houston (25 - 7) Always a very difficult and talented team Friday - Lewisburg (MS) (18 - 5) Defeated Desoto Central earlier in the year Saturday - Desoto Central (MS) (20 - 5) ranked #2 in Mississippi

Big 2 games today and tomorrow(weather permitting) in district 14AAA between Bartlett and Arlington. Bartlett has some impressive wins already this season. Should be a good measuring stick for Arlington.

Arlington (17 - 6) and Bartlett (19 - 4) start their two game series tonight in Arlington. Tomorrow night in Bartlett. Should be two great games.

What a game these two great team played last night. 1 - 1 after 7 innings it took another 11 innings before "Bug" Cox of Arlington hit a walk off homerun in the bottom of the 18th inning to make the final score 4 - 3. Pitching and defense from both teams were outstanding all night. It was truly a game for the ages.

18 innings. Does anyone know if this is record for post season play in Tennessee?
