He is also on the pole for this weekend's race at Texas. Little E qualified 44th, which means he'll be starting in provisional land.

My boy Bill Elliott qualified 9th thumb

Until Dale Jr. wins 45 races and wins a Cup Championship there is no comparison to Bill Elliott for him. If anyone wants to compare him to Gordon then please feel free to do so because Jeff has won 71 races and soon to be 5 Cup Championships. How many races and championships has Little E won folks???

Just a few facts!

It took Bill Elliot 8 years to win a race, Jr won his first race in his 12th career start!

This is Elliotts 22nd full season in NASCAR and he has 44 wins, this is Jr's 6th full season in NASCAR and he has 15 wins and we all know that he will end up with way more than 44!

Out of Elliotts 21 years driving, he has had 10 years where he didnt win a race, Jr has never had a year that he hasnt won a race in 5 full seasons! Elliott didnt even win one race between 95-00, that is six years with out seeing victory lane!

So see you are right we need not to compare them but to talk about how much greater Jr will be by the time he walks away from this sport!

And in defense of all my Earnhardt buddies, sure we are Jr fans but one man got us to be Jr fans and that was The Intimidator and you want to start comparing drivers, BRING IT, because they are two men that stand in a class of their own, Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt Sr.! Both 7-time Winston Cup champions, and if not for theses to been, NASCAR would be in the same ranks as the National PingPong Association!

When Gordon or Elliott either one gets to 7 cups and revolutionizes a sport as theses men have done then we can talk! thumb

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
