They've always been PHS......Peabody High School. Lots of people refer to them as Trenton Peabody...........maybe because "Peabody" really doesn't tell where they are from...."Trenton Peabody" does. I know some folks thought we were a school out of Memphis...............The Peabody Hotel.....

 

I also know that for a period of about 2-3 years, several of the sport teams would wear "T" on their hats or jerseys, but in all actuality......they are and always have been Peabody High School. And now they sport the "P" again.

 

Does that make any sense?

Becky, How well we know you are not good at making predictions. Maybe it was just sour grapes ... wanting Middleton to lose to whoever they played.

 

I have made NO predictions and won't now ... but, I will say this should be one good game tomorrow and I will be there to cheer on the Middleton Tigers.

girl you are so right!! why dont you go ahead and predict Trenton in a blowout so that Middleton will win .... just kiddin. im for Middleton all they way but if Peabody wins i guess it will still be alright since the gold ball will still be makin a trip back out west....it would be kinda neat for them to win with both the boys and girls team.

 

lets go HARD-MAN county tigers!!! this could be the first time ever we both won in the same year.

Middleton...Peabody is good but from what I saw today they only have Doaks. Rammsie(Spelling?) has a nice shot but they didn't seem to play as well as everyone always says they do...Of coarse this was my first time to see them play and it could have been one of their "not so good" games, but I just think Middleton is a very strong team...physically and mentally...I did not see any ball hogs on the team and they are a great team.

When did I say that I wanted Middelton to lose to whoever they played? I want Peabody to win b/c they are a great team and b/c they are representing our district. My mother and I are proud of my good sportsmanship. I am mad b/c I couldn't go to watch the games Wed. w/ our basketball boys though.

Glad you and your mom think you have good sportsmanship. It has been evident to me and many more the lack of it you have.
