As for Thursday, if the CCS officials deemed Tullahoma the tournament champions, that's good enough for me.

I think the deal with Tullahoma and Notre Dame not playing that final match was that the two coaches decided that it was illogical to play another game on that weather-beaten field--with there being the possibility of both teams sustaining unnecessary injuries--seeing as Tullahoma will host ND this Thursday. So that game at CCS wouldn't have counted for anything I don't think. Anyways, I look forward to playing you guys on the 7th. See ya there.

You are correct, except the CCS officials scheduled ND to play Tullahoma. Maybe they gave Tullahoma the option to play a championship match or be named champions. Or maybe they would have been named champions either way, given your point. In any event, congratulations to Tullahoma. It was a little confusing for the Notre Dame players, who merely wanted to play another match.

 

BTW, OwlsGK30, I enjoy watching you play, you're strong in the goal.
