I wouldn't call these 2 teams even. Creekwood has played a much tougher schedule and has the experinced players. I think we Harpeth will play both teams better next time around. Watch out for Sycamore's field and the crazy bounces.

What's up shut up and play? What do you think?

Sometimes youth overcomes experience and over confidence is a pitfall of many teams.I have seen Harpeth play they our good team.Sycamore is a team that is hot right now, they have won the last 6 games in a row. They were picked last in your preseason poll and our 3-0 in the district now.Sycamore has also been involved in tough preseason tournaments.Yes I do see this game even the coach at Sycamore has got them playing great ball with average players I will take them kind of players any day, because they our focus every play and working great as a unit. This is a tough one to call. I think that it will depend on timely hits. Will they leave runners stranded or will they get the hits when they need them? I think that overall Creek Wood is the better team, however this isn't the hard-nosed rivalry that CW and Harpeth have so i hope that the CW girls come out ready to play and don't lay down thinking they have it in the bag. CW also has a winning tradition against Sycamore and when it comes down to it i believe that Cw will come out on top. I think that when this one is over CW and Sycamore will have the same amount of wins in the district at 3. I'm out

i can't believe that no one is one here talking about the show-down. I know it is early but this will determine number one in the district as of right now. If Creek Wood wins this one they will be the only undefeated team left i believe. This win could put CW in the driver's seat or it could even up the field. Even though it is early this would be a huge win for CW because it gives them one more win in the district and another team one more loss and gives the other teams a chance to get beat this week which will put them further behind CW.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
