Being from the general Kingston area I cannot really be a chooser of either team, although I am kind of partial to the Lady Jackets. The Lady Waves didn't have it together until about the 3rd inning, once they got in the rythym of things, then they started to rally. If they had played like that the whole game, then they might not have neccassarilly won, but would have given the Lady Jackets a run for their money. The main thing in this game was pitching. I am not knocking the Lady Waves whatsoever, but overall Kingston just has better pitchers. Over all it was a good game, after all Kingston is a double A school, whereas Midway is only single A.

      Siegel Middle School is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach. This will be the 3rd year that the school has had a program, but the Stars have had a middle school team for a while now. This is program is established and has a club team (Stars) feeding it with wrestlers.    Siegel High School is looking for an assistant coach. Again, this program is growing with talent every year.       Way too early 1A favorites 2024

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
