baseketball was horrible i can't believe someone even qualifies it as a baseball movie. that is a stoner movie.

There was an HBO movie from 1987 called "Long Gone". William Peterson from CSI played Stud Cantrell, a pitcher for the Tampico Stogies. What a great baseball movie. Hard to find, but well worth it.

I said it was hard to find, maybe not. Ebay has several copies for sale right now. VHS only, but buy one, you will love it. Man, they need to release it on dvd
