Gallatin Football 2005

Gwave (or anyone else who may know), have you heard anything about who Gallatin will be playing in non region competiton this year?  I would like to see Gallatin and Portland play sometime in the next couple of years.  Now that Portland is a 4A school and they don't play 9 region games a season, I don't think that it would be too far fetched.  I am sure Gallatin will probably make their 4A game against Beech though, at least this year.

Non-Region Games are Lebanon, Wilson Central and Beech. This should be for the next 4 years.

I don't see that happening anytime soon, Gtowner. It used to be a huge draw back in the 50's and 60's but after the undefeated Green Wave were not allowed to join the playoffs back when Barron was coaching, Portland got the boot off the schedule. I think the best you could hope for would be a Jamboree game.

I haven't heard of the schedule as of yet but it should be held at Gallatin again.

 

Coach Short's debut with the White House 9th grade vs Gallatin's Freshmen will be of great interest. If the game takes place like past years.

1ST day of spring practice is tommorrow. Scrimmage vs Tullahoma is next Friday and scrimmage vs White House is the next Thursday. The following Tuesday will be the Green and Gold game.

The first scrimmage is in Tullahoma, not sure of the time but it will be after school.

 

The scrimmage against White House will be at Gallatin. This should also be after school probably around 6:00.

the sumner co jamboree is at gallatin on 8/18

in varsity White House will play Beech

i think Gallatin will play Portland

not sure what freshman teams will playing or what middle school teams are playing

 

White House freshman will be playing Gallatin freshman September 22 at White House

Gallatin/Whitehouse Scrimmage is this Thursday...MAY 19th at the school practice field at 4:30. Bring your own seat.
