Alex Vaughn threw 403 curve balls and shut the Owls offense down. Soddy hit Justin Higdon pretty well. When Ooltewah did manage to get the bats on the ball, it was right at Soddy's D. So, great game Soddy! You played a very good game tonight.

It is indeed a dark, dark day in Hooterville.

(Except for the Benny Monroe thing!)

Nah, it's ok. Soddy is always a threat under the direction of Steve Garland. A loss for the Owls could be a good thing at this point in the season. The important thing for them is to learn from last night, and not let it happen again.

Ooltewah really didn't. Soddy hit the ball well and they played good defense. Ooltewah did not hit well, and they didn't look to sharp in the field either. See ya'll tonight!

haha, that was funny.

anyway, slightly surprised at this one last night. if i saw soddy winning both or even splitting the series, i wouldn't have expected ooltewah to lose at home. i think it might be a little tougher tonight to win at soddy, but with a little fire under the behind, ooltewah should come out hot. anyone have an idea of the projected pitchers for tonight?

also, soddy's fuel last night might have been from their recent road loss at hixson...
