now that i think of it..i dont think i have ever played a team from that part..played northern teams..just not northwestern tn teams..i dont think..how far up northwestern???

Chips, there is a club team in Northwest TN. It is called West Tennessee Select, and they are a division II club team based in Martin (weakley county). All the top players from Martin Westview, Dyersburg, Milan, and Henry County play on it. Tryouts are sometime this summer.

Martin isn't all that far away, sounds good. They already have a keeper? I figured that the keeper from Dyersburg played on it but since he is a senior will he be too old this summer?

Last year Martins keeper played on it, but he is a senior. Dyersburg's keeper is a senior too, so we need goalies to try out (if you are one).

i know it might be a little early to be asking this or anything..but does anyone know,as of yet, if there are any select teams in the chattanooga thru knoxville area..southeast Tn..that is looking for some players...keeper,defense,md...anyone..please let me know..

Tryouts for the DI teams can only be done after the DI tournament. The state Tournament is June 11 -13. Most clubs will have tryouts for their older boys teams the week of June 13 - 17.

 

If the team is from a smaller club with less chance of new players coming to tryout the team may not even have a scheduled tryout. Get in touch with the coach, tell him your background and that you are interested in playing, and most of us coaches will welcome a player to a few training sessions with the team to see if you will fit in.

Thanks a ton. Any more info.. such as where they are located? I'm assuming Martin's field but I'd rather be sure than to show up at the wrong field.
