fastbreak15
Do AAU sanctioned events have special criteria for a referee before he/she can call a game?

PHargis
825674850[/snapback] This did not answer the question. Who selects the referees and who assigns them to games at an AAU state tournament event? I probably will not get an answer but it is good to know generally. If the answer is high school and college officials, who assigns them to the games to take away any conflict of interest such as from the same town, friends of coach of one team, etc. Who makes sure that those things are not a problem? Sometimes there are collage officials sprinkled amoung those associations.

Who assigns the referees to a particular game?
