Hendersonville is a good middle to upper team but they don't compare to the top teir of teams in the state, such as Brentwood. Brentwood is solid all the way to the #4 spot. Simply not enough USTA experience in that Hendersonville lineup to compete with the best teams in state.

Houston is coming out of west tn but it looks like all they have is Andrew Solarski and Neil Lovett...don't think they will be able to take down Dobyns Bennett

Question: Has Alex Hartness gotten alot better this year compared to last year?

Well just look at their lineup Miles, He's not any better than Coley. And you might be getting ahead of yourself a lil if you are already expecting to play Brentwood in the finals. I actually expect our #4 to beat Hartness if he is playing good

For anyone who doesn't know, John Hereford was beat in regionl finals by Science Hills 8th grade sensation Chris Smith. So Hereford wont be winning individuals this year.

Whats the deal with the better players playing doubles? If you look at the state draws it seems like there is more depth in doubles than in singles. I thought Hereford was one of the favorites to win it, but he lost to an 8th grader. There are no standout players in singles.

Your correct. Doubles are deeper. Everyone thought Brian Hartness is playing, so they know they have to chance of winning state individually so they choose doubles instead, not knowing he was defaulted.

 

To answer your question Haris, Hereford is right handed. He had one bad match against Chris, who played great that day. If they played 9 more times, Hereford would beat him every single time. Before he was beaten at regionals, Hereford beat him 0-0.

lol i Know hereford is right handed guess ya didn't see the joke in that one? still trying to figure out how u can beat some one 0,0 and then lose to them the next time. Must have been a choke job

I say the winner of the Kyle Wishing and Doug Mitchem match will most likely win it all in singles

DB's team is obviously favored in doubles but there are a couple of teams that could potentially give them some trouble
