Most of our players saw 90% fastballs. I saw 7 straight fastballs. He held us to 7 hits and 2 runs in a complete game. He did very well against a team who normally crushes the fastball. 825677440[/snapback] you mean to tell me that very high 80's and low to mid 90's in high school ball doesnt make him a good pitcher? HA seemed to work all of last year including the championship of the state tournament and all of this year 825678018[/snapback] sure a 90 mph fastball can dominate most high school teams but if thats all you have then it comes to a point where you are gonna stroked after about 1 inning.not taking anything away from "d train" , cause he is a quality pitcher. but having a good change and curve help out quite a bit.
