Bolivar travels to Milan Monday at 5:00 for a chance to advance to the substate.

 

Predictions? ...If the bats stay hot in Milan and with J. White on the mound..i'd say its going to be a good night at the Dawg Pound.

Dont over-look Boliver. If they pitch their ace, there is no reason why this cant be a close game. Sure Milan seems to have the advantage, but if they get to looking ahead to the next game, they could get upset. Concentrate on this game and this game only and Milan should come out on top. Good luck to both teams.

Bolivar didn't beat white but he sure didn't beat us.  we beat ourselves by the walks and base running mistakes.  white is a good pitcher but he sure wasn't what we expected.  i thought he threw harder than that  was he having an off night?

I heard major offnite....Question, why didn't Brandon Goodman start pitching tonite instead of a freshman???

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
