McMinn County 2005 Region Champs

I just wanted to say congrats to McMinn on a successful season. They won a no doubter tonight in Athens 6-1. The Cherokees will play the loser of Tullahoma's/Riverdales game. I wish them the best of luck from here on out, but their next game is going to be their toughest. Anyone heard who won that other game?

Congrats to my classmate David Ray. He played on some good Cherokee teams "back in the day". I didn't realize this was the first region championship for McMinn.

Let me add my congrats to Coach Ray and the McMinn Co. Cherokees. Coach Ray is a class act all the way, and is a great baseball coach. It's good to see the Cherokees as Region champs!! Good luck against the Riverdale Warriors!!
