If you have a problem with the current process, contact your regional director and let him know. It is my understanding the regional directors meet prior to the TBCA Clinic, and I am sure such concerns would be discussed and considered accordingly.

The fact that it is creating such a stir says a great deal about the importance and support of this event. It is by far the top showcase across the state, and this is the reason why so many players want the opportunity to participate.

THEY USUALLY MEET BEFORE OR AT THE STATE TOURNAMENT AND THEY ALSO MEET IN AUGUST TO DISCUSS THINGS.

Whatever!  That's always going to happen.  Since little Johnny doesn't get picked, Little Johnny's daddy complains that the coach picked his favorites!  Or that the team was picked before tryouts!  It's no secret that coaches talk and just because somebody has an EXCELLENT tryout or a TERRIBLE tryout doesn't necessarily make or break their chances.  And I know your response might be, "Well why even have a tryout?"  I've been to 3 or 4 of these tryouts and each year the team from my regions are picked pretty well.  Anyways, just my opinion.  And of course those players who made the team their sophomore year and did well are going to have a leg up on the competition.  That's just the way life is in every aspect - whether we like it or not!  Good luck to all!
