The region 5 and 6 sub state games are usually better than most of the state games. With a couple notable exceptions(Friendship and Boyd) the best teams in the state the last several years have come from these regions: Goodpasture, DA, Ezell, FRA, Forrest, Richland, Summertown, and CA. Summertown and CA are both good enough to do well at state this year. Good luck to Goodpasture and DA.

like i told you yesterday, your daughter pitched great, and had alot of heart playing through the pain. don't let freemon ruin ya.

She struck out the first two times at bat.  Her third at-bat she got their only hit of the game and drove in their only run.  Her fourth, she hit it hard on the ground to the left side and was thrown out.

 

Goodpasture scored in the bottom of the 10th when Weissinger bunted international runner Suggs to 3rd.  Peroni out.  Moncrief sac flies to center to score Suggs.  Textbook play for the win.

I would say your right. I check your paper everyday to see how the teams up there are doing and there is not alot said about softball.
