I heard that Westview lost in a shootout...... wish I could have seen the game, must have been close and hard fought.

Thats Awesome! CCS may not be the best team....they didnt even get a winning record until after the regular season! But their coming together, making some noise and playing hard for their coach whose retiring after 32 years. Wouldn't that be cool if they win it all? Sounds like a Disney movie. (I hope your reply gets verified or else I made this post in vain) B)

CCS did win in PKs 4-2. Freshmen keeper Brad Gibson had two great saves and yes what a storybook CCS this is for the CCS soccer team. That would be awesome if they won one for Stanton.

Westview(we) dominated for 120 min. and somehow lost in the end(it's pretty hard to do that).

I saw most of the second half and in my opinion your assessment that Westview dominated is an overstatement. Niether team had the best game but I saw shots on goal from CCS and none from Westview. It was a hard played match but it was fairly even from what I saw.

Their record is 7-10-3.

"They have named a new coach. This is it for me for now. It's safe to say this caught me off guard. I wasn't aware of any of this until December, but I still want to be involved in soccer at CCS in whatever way possible."

Chattanooga Times Free Press 5/10/05, quoting coach David Stanton.

Yeah...thats a sad quote. It appears he got sandbagged and there seems to be some injustice in his retirement. Thats why this run through the post season has been even better.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
