Mr College man soccer player with mad handles on the pitch, the word is accolades and I assume that "prolly" is "probably" but, at any rate, I agree with your assessment of Jaime Cooper.  I have seen her play three games this season and I have been impressed with her footskills and agility; she also is physically strong with good fitness.  In the past few years I have seen Christin Moss several times and yes, she too is an excellent candidate.  Have you considered the Brittany Lee from CCS? All things being equal, she is a solid player with excellent skills and a solid shot = her knowledge of the game is top.  Any ideas on the area's best female keeper since you have so much experience in that area.

haha yeh my spelling goes down the drain when i type... it kinda gets me introuble when i type papers out haha. i'm sure i have seen brittany lee play b/c of the ccs/grace school rivalry but i couldn't tell you her number or what she looks like. i know they are always a solid team top to bottom so to be a stand out there would be impressive but i don't know her specifically. i really have no idea who the best keeper is in the area now. i know eryn garcia grace was one of the top ones last year... she is playin at covenant college now. but i never really knew to much about the girl keepers... which is kinda sad :thumb:... maybe i should work on that  haha so your guess is as good as mine.

i have seen then CCS keeper play ( leah wilson, she played on my moms select team) she has potential, but seemed sumwhat cocky and unteachable when i tried to work with her a few times. maybe it was her reaction to me i dunno. other than her i know no names...

Three of the best players I've seen in A/AA play at Knox Catholic.  Martha Hall, Gretchen Sutch and Anna Hickey all have college potential.  Hall and Sutch are sophomore club (and I think ODP) teammates and Hickey is a junior.  I think all three play for TVFC Diadora Lady Impact teams.

who are the best players in a/aa?

Ariel Cohen (Hume Fogg) 9th grade Forward and 2 time current Region III ODP player ('90). Double digit goals already this year (including hat trick vs. David Lipscomb (ranked #7 in A/AA). Not just scoring against cupcakes although meat of the schedule is coming up (have to prove herself further admitedly). But so far, this falls scoring Numbers and current ODP Region Credentials are hard to argue with.

Cooper (ND) and Proffit (David Lipscomb) are strong players, but if I were starting a team and had 1st draft choice, then I would take Cohen from what i have seen so far. Ive seen all three about the same (about 8 or 9 games a piece over the last couple years casually in select and/or high school.

opinions are opinions...but personally i would take halie...i have seen both play in travel. i play travel with halie our team (tnfc 89 premier) played against cohens odp team, but she could have been off. or it may be different with different players. but when it comes down to it i know both are very strong players and tremendious assets to their teams.

What bout Defenders everyone is mainly? saying offensive players...offense sells tickets but defense wins championship.

ok so any good defenders in tennessee? middle? east? west?

I have a fresh young talented outside back. She is a freshman and her name is Tiffany Miles. Good knowledge and implementation of that knowledge. Very agressive and plays good pressure defense. Also plays a lot like a Cafu or Roberto Carlos by coming up and scoring some goals. Always looking to get in to the attack and press her D up. Can't wait to see what happens with her over the next few years.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
