Huntingdon v/s Westview at Westview

Folks, this game is gonna surprise many of you. This game will not be as close as you think. Guy isnt as good a back as Boyd from Camden.. thats just my opinion!

Guy is a good back... but one man alone will not get it done this year.

 

Huntingdon wins this one by 14+ points. I dont see Guy playing all 4 quarters and I dont see the Westviews quarterback playing the whole game either take it for what its worth. I got a feeling pressure will bust pipes on Westviews side. Westview will play sloppy the second half of this game. Westview will start the game looking good and executing pretty well, but as the game wears on got a feeling a few players from Westview are gonna get lost in confusion. Too much comin at em to fast. I'll give em about a quarter of good play then the wheels fall off.

 

Westview has to prove they can play with Huntingdon.... Huntingdon has to prove nothing. Can Westview live up to their SO CALLED success. Is Beating Huntingdon their only definition of success? From what the football fans around West Tennessee see it is. They want to storm the field after the game to celebrate a victory over the MIGHTY MUSTANGS!

 

Wait another season cause it wont happen Friday night!! And by chance you do win.... So what... you'll never see the Boro (or as we call it in Huntingdon " THE DERBY") just ask Milan where the road to the state leads..........

The Mustangs are comin and bringing more people that attend a UT Martin football game Get fired up Westview get those pep rallies going. Have a ticker tape parade. Hold Mardi Gras, paint your faces and tell grandma to bake a pie.

 

It's business Friday...... and yea it's personal!!!

I hate to say it, but your Milan Bulldogs are the 3rd best team in the region.  Westview-Huntingdon winner is #1 and loser will finish #2.  Milan will be #3, and a fight for 4th between Humboldt-Dresden winner this week and Trenton and USJ!

And those of you who think Westview is a one-man show are sorely mistaken. Williams can run, Pate can throw, and they've got a number of solid receivers. If the Mustangs somehow figure out a way to shut down Guy, Westview has other weapons.

3rd best maybe but u dont know what will happen milan and west view both beat huntingdon last year so that would have made them the 3 best team last year if they were in the same region but yet who made it to the boro huntingdon exactly my point just because u get beat doesnt mean the other team is always better we need to stop thinking so much about each other and think about bringing that gold ball home to 7-2A

Huntingdon gets there and gives up 50+ points.......LOL

 

Football has been weak in west TN the last couple of years, since the great Milan teams, Covington teams, Crockett teams, and Westview teams of about 3 years ago! I mean McKenzie was in the state semis a couple of times, could they actually have won a state title, no way! West TN football is getting strong again, it goes in cycles, this region is going to be extremely competitive, with upsets each week! However, the winner of this game (I think it was Westview last year) will be the frontrunner to win the region!

 

Good luck to both squads, and lets hope a helicopter doesn' t have to land on the 50 yard line!

I support Kentucky. That is all inclusive. It took years of counseling to openly suppport Wildcat football but I have successfully accomplished that feat. Besides, some people like to go to casinos and throw away money, I can watch Kentucky throw away games. By the way, have you built up enough comp time for Friday night?
