Riverdale greatest TN Football Program Ever?

WOW, WOW, that is the only thing to say about that, I wonder how many shut outs they have had. And how many 50 point games. Riverdale is may not be the best TN team ever yet but they sure are the team of the Millenium......the new one anyway.

After considering all of the evidence and arguments, I have concluded that Riverdale is definitely the top team in the 21st century.

Wouldn't Maryville have to be the top team in the 21st century. They have won like four titles since 2000.

Best of all time? No, not at this point in time. Could they if they put a few more gold balls in the trophy case in Murfreesboro? Sure, that argument could be made, but even then there will be legitimate arguments for other teams. I can't argue with DB or Brentwood Academy or my home town Oak Ridge fans for their views.

 

Riverdale has been the gold standard (pardon the pun) since 97, but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. I dare say that the way populations migrate and how cities and towns grow and recede that there will be a high school that hasn't been built as I write this that will be proudly pointing to their trophy case in 20 years and making the same argument.

in my opinion, it's DB... i have friends whose daddys played over there and they know what winning is all about. they're usually a winning program year in and year out. when i heard the school's name, i think of the letter "W"
