Good deal...we are working on some good food, too. I can't wait to see Presentation, Curry, and Desoto Central. I have seen Anderson Co and Franklin and think these guys, among several others will make the Gold Division pretty competitive. I think once we get into the Bracket Play...things will be fairly balanced and there will be some great matches.

We thought about trying to get that big Johnsonville Brats Grill Truck...that thing is cool. Chik-Fil-A has come through for us, as has Starbucks, Coke, and Papa John's. Still working on Arby's as well. Plus, my mom is bring some of her World Famous fried Pies from West Tn when she comes up. You better not leave with out one.

Anderson County looks great and I expect them to contend for the title.

You're right, I haven't updated the e-teamz site. The schedule and roster are loaded here. Here it is in a nutshell - 6-2 rotation, we use a libero, 10 girls play, this is the first real varsity action for 6 of them. We attack as much as possible, have a pretty strong block, serve pretty strong and a have real good libero...and finally, we have the potential to loose to anyone but have been in all of our matches !!!!!!!!

Thanks, ghost - sounds impressive to me. I can hardly wait to see your team. I hope you bring your cheering section - I really like the cheer where they kinda act like they're marching in the way they swing they arms. Can you send me a DVD or CD of the Lady Mavs' cheers so I can join in? NOT!!!!

If AC wins this tournament, Cowboys Up said she would wear some of those horns at the scorer's table for the rest of the season. There are several good teams however - Besides host LaVergne, Franklin, Presentation, Spring Hill, Columbia, & the others could offer AC some challenges.

I know nothing about Curry and Desoto, but I seriously doubt the TN teams listed can win a game from Presentation. They are ranked #6 in KY and are just at a higher level than anybody in TN IMO, with perhaps the exception being Brentwood. My daughter played on a KIVA club team with a DS from Presentation and I've seen all their players individually at KIVA, though not as a team together. EXTREMELY well coached girls with unbelievable ball control skills.

 

Anderson is a good team, but they are young and their inexperience hurts them. I can safely say they have no chance against Presentation because Lafayette would have no chance against Presentation and we beat Anderson rather convincingly in 2. Anderson is capable of beating teams like Independence, Centennial and BGA that were in the Page, but not Presentation Academy. Just no way. Completely different level of volleyball played by those Louisville Catholic girls.

Interesting that Presentation will be at this tournament and not the Brentwood tournament. Brentwood didn't pull any of the Ky teams, which I find rather interesting. Are the Ky teams tired of winning the BIVT?
