Brentwood wins 2 in Huntsville - 9/20

Brentwood made a road trip to Huntsville on Tuesday and came home with 2 victories:

 

Brentwood def. Bob Jones 2-1 (20-25, 25-21, 25-23) yes, in AL tie-breaker games go to 25

Brentwood def. Grissom 2-0 (25-21, 25-22)

I wish there was some consistantcy on the thrid game issue. For some reason ref's don't get it, especially JV games.

Metro MS- 21-21-15

HS Tournaments- by adoption, but most are 25-25-15

MS Tournaments- by adoption, but most are 25-25 pool, 25-25-15 elimination

JV (all)- 25-25-15

 

Some conferences (MS and non-TSSAA) adopt their own variations, but this is, for the most part, how it's supposed to be!!

THis cost us a match in the Blackman JV tournament against Brentwood JV. We beat them to 15 in the third game but they beat us to 25. The Siegel JV team was really upset.

 

Also everytime we go to Sparta or Cookeville they make us play to 25 in the third game. So maybe we should make this a different thread so our terrific officials know the rules.
