Waverly at Riverside

By the way who did Riverside play on the game film that you watched?

I believe the film i saw was the game that riverside played adamsville...

Riverside played a great game last week against, what I think is, a good Adamsville football team. Riverside played every aspect of the game really well and if they can match that again this Friday night, they will win. But don't be surprised if the Cardinals pull off the upset against Lewis County this week.

I'm sorry, but Riverside should win this game. Maybe not an eye popping blowout, but, you'll know who's gonna win before the 4th quarter.

 

Riverside's been on fire these last three weeks, they're in a groove here. Look at the last 3 games.

 

Riverside 117 Opponents 42= Riverside's scoring 39 points a game, and only giving up 14. And if you look at only the last 2 games, thats 5 points a game.

 

On the other hand, you got Waverly. Yeah, they've beat a few teams, and yeah, they look much improved. But- they don't score a whole lot of points. Over the last 3 games-

 

Waverly 58 Opponents 40= Waverly's ONLY scoring 19 points a game, but they're giving up 13. These aren't convincing numbers. Riverside's only given up 2 more points over the last 3 games, but they've scored 59 more points over the same time span.

 

While this is no disrespect to Waverly-you've shown a lot of heart pulling out some reallly close games in OT, you FIGHT to the end. But at the end of this one, you won't be fighting for the win, but you'll be fighting for respect.

Of them 42 points Richland had 32 of them but gave up 35.Good luck to both teams this week,these are two teams that i have great respect for.

waverly may not be doin much scorin but they have managed to stop other teams from scorin....for example.. last week at mont cent they stopped one of the top running backs and held them to 0 points.... as long as we can stop riverside, then maybe we can keep the score close..and our defense has been workin hard and gittin better each game....

I can't wait for this game!!! I hope Riverside has had a good practice this week. I think that Waverly will be a tuff team but I believe the Panthers will pull it out! This Panther team has been very exciting to watch this year. They have some very talented players, although I have my favorite!!!!!
