i know South Pitts picked to win but i think if whitwell can get up and marcus m can stay focused and not throw off his back foot this could be the game of the season for them what ya think

I can't believe no one has replied to this yet. This would be a great game to see, even though I am not a football fanatic. Two good teams... I am going to have to go with SP, but it is possible for Whitwell to win. They definitely have what it takes, in my opinion.

South Pitt will take this game with no problem.

They're just a better team and will get the job done against the Tigers.

I think if Whitwell coaches watch film of the Jasper game and use the same game plan then they will be able to keep it closer than most people think. Whitwell is bigger up front than Jasper and have a little more speed at the skill positions which could cause So. Pittsburg some trouble, but ultimately I think So. Pittsburg will win in a close one.

I think that game plan would be the tigers best option, but looking at the stats of the So. Pitt./Temple game, Vic used it to tune up his runing game. So. Pitt. has to much speed for Whitwell. If So. Pitt. plays a balanced offence, I don't think the Tigers can contain them. JMO (PIRATES SKIN KITTIES) 42 TO 14

On paper SP should win, but you know on those rival games you just can't tell.

 

I still think SP will win by at least 10 points. But, you never know.

Whitwell will have to play better next Friday if they stand a chance against the Pirates. South Pitt is much quicker and faster than the Tigers. The Tigers are bigger as stated many times in this thread. Whitwell must control the ball and not turn it over. If this happens then we may have a close game, if not this might turn ugly fast. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

The thing is South Pittsburg has a game this week. Next week is the Whitwell game. Since the thread has already been started I'll take the bait. South Pittsburg wins. Doesn't matter how or how much but they will win.
