jtidwell
Wilson Cates definitely put up a great case for it in last night's win... just ask Knoxville Carter. It's a long shot, but he's worth a mention in the conversation.

coachrop
He will not get as much hype as others but Creek Wood's Ben Steverson has to be considered. 1850 yards in total offense(1150 rushing with 14 TD's: 450 recieving 4 td's; and 250 return yards and he just started this job 3 weeks ago; 1 defensive td and 3 int. from the free.) Very versitile player and a fine young man. He go's all out every game play and practice play or conditioning drill. Plus add to the situation he doesn't start at tailback because he shares the job With Josh Vaughn. Vaghn has 1250 rushing and 14TD's ; 2 recieving TD's. If they were solo the numbers would be scary, but they are both fine football players. C-YA in Lex. PEACE-OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gatorman
Who are some of the top players that might get this award? He broke 12 tackles??? That means everyone had a shot at him and someone missed twice! Creek Wood goes to Lexington on 11/11 and he wont even be the best player in that game...give me a break He broke 12 tackles??? Rabble Rouser
Devin Cauthorne of Notre Dame. 1600+ yards rushing and also starts on defense. Devin also had four touchdowns, more than 170 yards and an interpretion in the same game Mr. Dallas had 36 yards and looked very average. Don't mean to disrespect his year at all, but we didn't see much out of Dallas at ND, especially given that Carthorn was again outstanding. Guy averages a first down every carry. Ian Meredith, a high school Heisman candidate should also be considered.

creekbank
I think it's a shame that Dallas and Hudson from Macon wasn't finalist for Mr. Football they played their hearts out for the Tigers this year.I just think they deserved a nod.I'm not meaning any disrespect to any of the chosen finalist I am sure they are very deserving.
