  1. Smith County's radio coverage and live online stats are first class all the way. I definitely recommend it if you couldn't make it tonight. Thanks Antwan for the link
  2. Here's the scenario, #1 Seed: Pearl Cohn #2 Seed: Station Camp #3 Seed: White House #4 Seed: Sycamore If Station Camp wins: A)WHHS(3) wins and SC(2) plays @ Home B)PC(1) wins and SC(2) plays @ PC
  3. I've never understood the reasons for excuses and I never will. Losers make excuses. White House was given every opportunity to win the game Friday night, it just wasn't in the cards. Notre Dame made the plays when they had to. They tackled adversity by being down 13-0 and really made two gut check drives to win this football game. I wish them the best of luck against Livingston Academy. To our players and seniors, you played your hearts out. I believed in you all along, but I have to admit that even I was suprised by the quarterfinals appearance this season. It's something to be proud of, never hang your heads, and most of all, appreciate that you got a chance to put on that Blue Devil uniform. It really is something special. To the coaches, what a tremendous job. I will never be able to say enough about you guys. No matter how treacherous the waters may be, this ship is always righted. And there is a reason for that... no matter what some may think What a season, White House. It was a pleasure
  4. In the two games I got the honor to watch these guys, they really left everything out on the field. I was impressed with the heart of these seniors. And you guys always showed class, not only in victory but also in defeat. Which is not only a reflection of your parents but also your coaches. You had a great high school football career, unfortunately as mentioned above, it goes by all too fast. I wish you guys the best in luck with things to come.
  5. Could anyone post Rogan and Foote's numbers? It would be greatly appreciated
  6. Gotta believe White House and Greenbrier will be a close, physical game that comes down to the end.
  7. I haven't checked the site in a couple of days, so I'm not sure what happened over in the other thread. Reading over a couple of posts I sort of got the overall idea. This has been a frustrating season in a lot of ways, a 5-5 regular season after all the talk of "dominating 3a" after our showing in 4a, a quarterback dispute, and the end of the well documented streak. Every team at any level has fans that tend to take things to the extreme. An interception means a QB cannot throw the football, a fumble means a HB shouldn't carry the ball again, a loss means the season is over, etc. That is just the way it is. Blue Devil fans are no exception, especially with the recent success of the White House High School football program. This definitely has been shown with the emergence of online message boards, people get frustrated and things get said that maybe shouldn't be said and are shown to the entire state in writing. Maybe there should be more thinking involved before posting something on here. You represent White House, maybe only in a small way, but every time you speak people read it and say, "Look what White House is saying"... Just something to ponder. With all of that frustration that could be expressed, there should be praise. This team has overcame adversity to get to where they are. No, record wise they're not one of the best White House teams who ever stepped foot on the field. But guess what? They're still playing in Week 12. We have seen the Blue Devil record book re-written by Ricky Ladd and we've got to see a group of football players grow as men. That's something to be proud of. We love ya, boys. Two towns with a lot of pride for their teams, obviously. This is what it is all about. White House and Greenbrier. Two teams with a lot of class putting it all on the line for the simple goal of just playing next week. Good luck Greenbrier, this should be a great game! LET's GO DEVILS! BDP- Undefinable in words, but evident in emotion
  8. I'm honored you wanted to use one of my quotes. I was a senior last season for the Blue Devils and I loved every minute of it. It's great to hear from fellow alumni. Always in good company with me. As for the players, these experiences only come once in a lifetime and they come and go all too quickly. Enjoy every minute you have and do not take anything for granted. Good luck, Rebels From your BDP friends in Middle TN
  9. It's a new season, seniors. It's time to step up and take control of your destiny. The brackets have been made, the games all laid out. You are only guaranteed this Friday night. Keep your focus and leave everything out on the field. Leave no doubt that you did the best you could. And most of all, enjoy every second you have left to walk in that fieldhouse, watch film, practice, and hold your brother's hand in that huddle because it will go too fast, no matter how far this journey lasts. Everyone's first goal should be to get to the practice field next Monday. And I know it will be. Good luck, guys. We believe in you and we love you. BDP
  10. It's here! This is what it's all about. Who wants it more? There should be one heck of a battle in Greenbrier this coming Friday night. Good luck to both teams. Let's Go Devils! Ya gotta have BDP
  11. 2001-2004 White House Blue Devils, two region 6-4a championships, freshman and senior years. Quarterfinals appearance freshman year and semifinal appearance and 13-1 record senior year. My freshman team was also the Walking Horse Bowl champions in Marshall County(2001). I was a three year starter at center and started a handful of games at noseguard. #57 Loved every minute of it
  12. This place is sounding like a broken record. Every week this is brought up. I know you guys are entitled to your opinion, but advocate kind of hit the nail on the head. These guys are in high school, you do realize that, right? This is not Steve McNair or Erik Ainge(for Tennessee fans) that you guys are ragging on. And even if it was, you are beating a dead horse. Mash is a great player and he's going to be playing every week, but not at quarterback. Nothing you guys say is going to make White House's staff change their mind. "Uh oh, our fans on coacht.com don't like our decisions" Come on. Townsend's numbers are not great. We all know that, but this coaching staff has proven time and time again how good they are. No one has left from last year's staff, and I'm sure all of you loved their decisions in 2004. I really do believe that this is just a case of "loving ya when you're up and hating ya when you're down" They know what they are doing, folks. If you saw the hours they put in, you might understand. Anyhow, there is a game to be played tonight, good luck Blue Devils. I hope you guys are there cheering for our boys. Ya gotta have BDP
  13. I hate to use the phrase "must win" in week 4, but this is about as close as it gets to it for the Blue Devils. Let's go Big Blue!
  14. Here's hoping the seniors at White House find a way to turn this thing around. Good Luck, Blue. We're all still behind ya.
