I have been watching my Eagles from a distance the past few weeks. We seem to be improving, yet we continue to get outclassed by these DII opponents. Being a mid-80's BA guy, I guess I was spoiled by the cupcakes we once played. At the time though I was convinced we could play with the MBA and McCallie's of the world.

 

Should we win the first round, I'd call the season a success. I'm just afraid I'm going to have to change my name to 'Noballs' with the tough schedule ahead.

Never a 3A or 5A title when all the schools were combined. I guess this board is a great outlet for you to deal with those demons. I know what set you off this time...(the distant beating of basketball drums).

Bauber, I have no hidden agenda here...just a serious question. What is it that makes you believe that MUS will win the rematch with CBHS? Simply loyalty, or something else?

I agree. If Baylor runs the ball 75% of the time they can beat anybody. We should have won against MBA if we would have stuck with the running game.

Baylor is 1-11 versus MBA since the inception of DII in 1997. Call me crazy, but perhaps there were some other factors in play as to why Baylor lost that game last Friday.
