4 East-TN Teams: Austin East, Notre Dame, Fulton, and Knoxville Catholic

 

7 Midstate Teams: Livingston Acad., Pearl-Cohn, White House, Greenbrier, Cheatham Co., Creek Wood, and David Lipscomb

 

5 West-TN Teams: Lexington, Haywood, Sheffield, Covington, and Crockett Co.

 

Livingston Acad. at Austin East

Fulton at Knoxville Catholic

Pearl-Cohn at Notre Dame

White House at Greenbrier

Cheatham Co. at David Lipscomb

Creek Wood at Lexington

Sheffield at Crockett Co.

Haywood at Covington

 

There may only be one east-TN team left after next week's games (that of course being the winner of the Fulton-Catholic game). Livingston could beat AE and Pearl-Cohn is certainly good enough to beat Notre Dame.

 

If I were you I'd be careful about bragging about east-TN teams because after last night they are few and far between

I'm a Cheatham Co. supporter, but I do hope that Greenbrier comes out of the east half of the playoff bracket.

Second year in a row that LA's region has swept the first round of the playoffs.

 

Not that that means anything, but just throwing it out there...

Fulton beat them something like 38-9 in week 8 or so of the regular season--bascially helping Fulton secure a play-off spot. The Falcons have ripped off 8 in a row since starting with close losses to AE & AC and a lopsided loss to Alcoa. Anyone notice a pattern----something about Fulton and teams that have a name starting with "A!!"
