Greeneville

Morristown West

Jefferson County

Greeneville has returning experience, but a new coach. Collins, Anderson and Forney will prvide good strength under the basket, with Nicole adding size and ability. Carter and White provide experience at the guard postion, and they have good depth at guard and wing.

 

Morristown West is big! Summer supposedly grew some more this summer, and with Collins, Mayes, Kadlitz and Thayer and many more to provide inside help, they could be quite formidable. LeMarr, Seay, Cross and Jones provide good depth at guard and wing. They have 3 seniors and 7 juniors returning from last year's team.

 

Jefferson County is very young, and not very tall. They will rely on quickness and hustle to compensate for lack of height. This is not the Jefferson County team you have gotten accustomed to the past 4 years. Ashley Kyle is a great player, and will have to provide senior leadership. They are likely going to start 3 sophomores this year.

 

Cocke County has size inside, I just don't know anything about their guard play

 

Morristown East is going to be small also, and has very little experience returning.

 

Cherokee will be young also, but many of their sophs played last year, so they have experience.

 

The IMAC lost 4 great playes last year to graduation, and several other seniors of note. It will be interesting to see who steps up this year.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.

      Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.

      I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
