Greenbrier wins this one pretty easily. It was 29-11 at halftime and about 50-30 midway through the fourth. Greenbrier only won 59-51 but thats because they got their second string in for some experience while Friendship kept their starters in and kept pressing so thats why GB only won by 8.

Good job Cats. Keep improving! The box score was not in the Tennessean. Do you have any stats?

Big game at Springfield this Friday. Good luck!

Greer finally got his first dunk of the year on a fast break.....I really do wish that he would dunk on someone!!! I think he is just a soft kid i think more colleges would look at him if he would not shoot fades baby lol live a little GREER and i know it aint all about dunks when u are 6'9 but you need to show the fans that support Greenbrier what they want........Good Luck against Springfield!!!!!!

:D I had a few things to say in response to this post, but after I figured out who wrote it, it was pretty darn funny lol, being on the greenbrier team and all I guess you would know best what Greer and the rest of the team needs to do. Do you have any other observations for any of the other players on the team???

Coachhard, the only things I can tell you are estimates:

Logan Greer...14-16 pts, many blocks and rebounds

Lance Adams...10-15 pts, many blocks and rebounds

Brooks Rauschenberger...11-12 pts, 2 or 3 and 1's

Kurt Caton...6-8 pts, many assists, broke the press really well

Ty Lynch...4-6 pts, great defense (held FC's leading scorer from last 2 games to 6 pts when he was guarding him)

Michael Seay...2 pts

Bryan May...2 pts

E-man...2 pts

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
    • Mistakes like that should never happen.
