I thought we were supposed to be talking about Rockwood basketball?? Not coalfield's or Rockwood's football team...Lets get back on subject here.

Hey, it is the simpleton, BJB's thread. I simply stated that the football players from Coalfield had just joined the team a week before the game. BJB, the simpleton owner of this thread, chose to change the direction completely.

How is Rockwood going to stack up with the district and region competition? Is Coach K's staff the same as last year? K is a great coach and I bet he will have his guys in a position to compete for the district title again. Will the tigers be able to hang with my devils?

 

The Tigers will be fine. They beat Oakdale tonight by the score of 81-42 (worse than Harriman did). They have no issues as to who takes the shots. They just let down in the 2nd half against Coalfield for whatever reason. They played through the whole game tonight completely dominating every phase of the game. I pick them to be the district champs and be extremely competitive in the region. We'll see how they stack up in a big game on friday night when the devils come to town.

The Tigers looked 100% better in the 2nd half tonight.. they play great throughout the entire game..we even got our moneys worth getting to see Hackler dunk not once but twice.. great game tigers.. but remember it was oakdale.. this wasnt cosby or harriman or a good team.. enjoy the win and get ready for harriman..
