Harpeth won but they were challenged throughout the first three quarters by the Cubs, who led it 23-21 at halftime.

They came out flat as I predicted over the weekend but their depth eventually took over in the 4th period. They must play better vs Sycamore on Friday if they want to survive (not win).

How big did Sycamore win over Fairview tonight????

Sycamore won this game by 30. Another great game from Jesse Moulton, who had another 30 point game. Harpeth better concentrate on him or he is goin to light them up.

I heard Harpeth struggled with Cheatham tonight. They better play a lot better Friday or it could get ugly, but I think Harpeth just overlooked Cheatham. They will play better against Sycamore and will be ready. I'm impressed how Sycamore is taking one game at a time so far this season and not looking ahead to other games. I think this is helping them tremendously.

first and foremost i dont want to hear anything about how great harpeth is until friday night, and thats if they win. they might have had a down game tonight but sycamore had a down game against a good east robertson team and still won by 12. aside from harpeths starting 5, they are one of the weakest teams ive seen this season. everytime a sub came in, cheatham started scoring. the only thing harpeth impressed me with was their defense and even that had breakdowns at times. the press was very easily broken, they got dominated on the boards, and they cant make a shot unless theyre wide open. a very down, but determined and improving, cheatham team should have beat them but they only have 6 people who can play and those 6 get exhausted, thats why harpeth ran away with it tonight. if harpeth plays like that friday they shouldnt worry about winning, they should be worried about getting embarrassed. even the student section was weak. and before all you "indians" bash me, i would like to say i could care less about what you have to say, and like catfish knows, i just call it as i see it and thats how i saw it tonight.

secondly, if cheatham keeps playing like this they could end up having a fairly good season. dansby has to keep up this level of play though for that to happen.

Impressive showing by Sycamore again tonight...

The Sycamore team really puts it on the opposition...

I was there and I think that 2nd and 3rd string guys were in before the 3rd quarter...

I kept up with the Harpeth/Cheatham game throughout the night and was sad to find out that Harpeth pulled out the victory...

But everyone is always talking about the students behavior...

HOW ABOUT FAIRVIEWS PLAYERS AND PARENT

One of the guys on the Fairview team was shooting birds and running his mouth off the to officials and others...

AND

One of the players on the Sycamore girls team got injured...

I was the same knee that had the ACL tear and kept the girl out for about 1 year...

The parent up in the stand Yelled (while she was down)..."LETS PLAY BALL"

Needless to say he was booed and no longer liked...

Later in the game....

The same fan (after what could have been taken offensivly, a chant, AIR BALL AIR BALL AIR BALL you stink)...

The same fan stormed to Dr.Chester began yelling the returned to his seat...

THEN he began TAUNTING the Sycamore Pep Club which only made the problem worse...

If you were to ask me I would say that that fan Should Have been escorted from the gym area and off of school property...

I mean teenagers are teenagers and there was no reason for a grown man to get so crazy-like...

But anyway Sycamore really put it on Fairview tonight...

Good Game Guys...

AND I CANNOT WAIT TIL the GAME OF FRIDAY!!!!

but I still go with Sycamore by at least 15

signed...

I see that Creek Wood stomped Stewart Co. tonight. Creek Wood got hammered by Harpeth last week in another game that Harpeth came out flat to start the contest.

It's not too far fetched to say that Cheatham Co. could be an upper seed once the District Tournament arrives. Dansby played his best game of the year by far tonight. Beach contributed nicely as usual. Hoeh and Coker both played well inside but Harpeth's uptempo pace and Cheatham's lack of depth wore those two down late in the game. Come second semester when the Cubs get Calhoun and Piper back on the floor they could make a run towards the Regional Tourney in a District 11AA that for the most part is not very good.

Catfish i think i know who u r and now i know how u kno so much about this district i wont say who u r on here. But, yea Harpeth did have a down night no doubt 2nite the first 3 quarters they were weak but in the 4th they outscored the cubs 26-7 and thats what won the game Dansby had a great game until Tyler Caruthers was put on him and he slowed him down but the girl's game had a fantastic finish as the Harpeth girls didn't play their game 2nite but they proved they were the better team

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
